Daisy Cakes, Dallas TX

I have ordered several Birthday Cakes from here over the past year. The cakes are not only delicious but Michelle is the most thoughtful and talented designer. The customer service is above and beyond. Michael and Michelle really know how to take care of business. Daisy Cakes is my go to.

I ordered 2 custom cakes at different times, sending pictures from their website to duplicate. Perhaps whoever made those cakes is not there any longer but was told yes they could make them. They weren’t even close to the requested designs. They weren’t even close and both moved on the base making them a total mess. I will not order again.

I ordered my baby a cup cake from this place on 12/19/23. The pick up was for 12 noon however, it wasn’t ready. I sat in the car for 30 plus mins waiting on my order to be ready. I received the order late just to get it and the order was done incorrectly. I called and spoke to Michael and Michelle who both was very unprofessional. They stated they thought frosted icing is the same as butter cream icing. To be in the field and not know the difference between the icing is just insane to me. If they couldn’t fulfill my daughter needs for her birthday I’m not sure why they didn’t tell me before they took my money. Not only did they sit there and argue with me about an error she made but also claim I can’t get my money back. I will be reporting them to the BBB and everyone else that needs to know about this! This was a complete waste of money none the kids including the birthday girl ate the cupcakes.

My birthday cake came out amazing! They did a fabulous job. Michele and Michael’s customer service was top shelf. All I did was tell Michele the party them and color scheme and she blew it out the water. The decorations were amazing. Usually when you get a pretty cake it tastes like trash, I will say this cake was the complete opposite. It was cute and the cake tasted amazing, it wasn’t dry AT ALL, my biggest pet peeve! I did one layer red velvet and the other one champagne and both were delicious! Thank you daisy cakes for everything! You have a repeat customer in me!

Damnnn they are pricy at $40 for a 8 inch carrot cake but dang they are good. The price kills me though. However they gave us a free cupcake and fudge for first time there which “sweetened” the price. Fudge was OK but cupcake amazing

I would stay away from the chocolate and red velvet. I want to love this place but every time I order the cakes just end up wrong or inedible. Like there is so much going for this place. But the chocolate was way too thick and the red velvet was burnt.

To the owner. Sorry for the downer review. The first year, I let it slide knowing how wonderful the people are here but after 2 years of problems, perhaps we just have different taste buds. We seem to agree on the cupcakes but when yall do cakes it just seems to go askew

Love this place! Everyone is so so nice and lovely! Got the strawberry cupcake with cream cheese frosting and it is to die for!

Absolutely amazing place! We got cupcakes from them and they were so delicious. Worked with Michael who was so welcoming and accommodating. Highly, highly recommend them to anyone needing cakes, cupcakes, etc!

Phenomenal job! They helped me put together a beach/light house themed cake for my girlfriends birthday with only 3 days notice. Would highly recommend. Picture attached to show how great they did. Thank you DC team!

Michelle helped me design and create the most amazing German Chocolate Cake I have ever had. I was seriously blown away! Not only did it look great, the taste was incredible. So soft, light, and the perfect amount of sweetness. I loved working with her and when we finally met in person, her energy was infectious and just as amazing as the beautiful cake. Thank you SO MUCH for making my cake dream come true!

Came in last week for some cupcakes and they were so kind and welcoming! Will definitely be back!

I got a retirement cake for my dad, and it was AMAZING! They did a great job, and they were super flexible with pickup (which is great if you’re like me and say 12 but show up at 1). They also were SO SWEET and gave my husband a complimentary cupcake because he wanted a treat for the drive. Overall a great local bakery, definitely use them!

An extremely late review… but I had to comment on how tasty and beautiful these last minute cakes were. Another baker cancelled 1 day before my nephew’s birthday and she saved the day! The owner is extremely sweet and helpful and everything she baked was made with love. I plan on ordering her champagne cake for my birthday this fall. I would recommend Daisy cakes to anyone!

We had the BEST experience working with Daisy Cakes! They designed a cake that looked like our parents 1990 wedding cake, for their surprise anniversary party. They were so so lovely to work with and the cake came together perfectly! Highly recommend!

Daisy Cakes did a fantastic job on the ultrasound machine, champagne flavored cake for Parkland Hospital Sonography department.
The cake was moist and delicious.looked so great, staff didn't want to cut!
