I got a birth certificate in less than 15 minutes! They are friendly, well organized, well informed, and pleasant. Whoever runs this department is doing a stellar job!

My fiancé and I arrived for our appointment 10 minutes early. Parking was easy as well as finding the Vital records department. Not only is the building beautiful but so was Deputy Charlene Jackson! She was so sweet and genuinely happy to have our appointment. She made sure we understood what we were doing and did a wonderful job at making sure all the information was correct. Ms. Jackson was truly memorable and made our appointment so fun and special. She took pictures, congratulated us with so much love and excitement and even told us where to stop to get the perfect backdrop for a selfie to remember that moment. Deputy Jackson should be the standard and we are so grateful that she was apart of that memory! We love her and will never forget her!

Started filing paperwork out at 9: 43, leaving now with BirthCertificate in hand at 10: 10.

We arrived 10 minutes late which is the policy that you cant pass 10 minutes of an appt we hauled a$$ because of traffic and the guy and lady were extremely rude we made it right on time and the lady lied saying we got there 12 mins late and that they shut down when they close at 4: 30 a marriage license doesn't take that long but since they saw we were latinos the white man treated us like we were trash thats okay I'll give collin country my money instead because im not gonna ask hours off of work to rebook an apt with them

Extremely efficient. Security assists with check in to ensure you’re in the correct wait line. Checked in at 11: 30, was out by 11: 50!

Ms. Charlene Jackson is a true ANGEL sent from heaven. She made our marriage license appointment so special. She pours into each and every couple and even takes the time out of her day to take pictures of you with your license. She exudes so much love, happiness, and light. My fiancé and I will never forget our special time with Ms. Jackson! We love her!

Place is so nice as a native Dallas county residents to see the court office of my hometown bring me pride and joy. - staff was polite well dressed and the wait time was less than 15 -20 min. As a user experience designer the layout and overall experience also well done.

I really wish I remembered the woman’s name at the county clerks office who helped me. I did not read where you needed an appointment. But she was so helpful in finding and explaining other options to fulfill our needs! Thank you!

Was hung up on twice today, when trying to straighten out why my birth certificate application was denied. Both ladies were rude, would cut me off mid sentence, and just eventually hang up mid conversation. One did so after I asked for her name because of the attitude. I get people have bad days, but customer service ain't for you ladies. Hope you have the day you deserve.

Ms. Jackson in the marriage license office is wonderful. She is extremely friendly and kind, plus she went out of her way to take photos of my fiancé and I with our license!

We obtained a marriage license recently and were very pleased that the process was smooth and staff was friendly and helpful. Ms Jackson’s customer service goes above and beyond the norm!

Starting from entry to the Vitals section, the staff members are very friendly, informative & helpful.it appears to be a very supportive work environment. It was a very pleasant experience for us.especially since my fiancé & I just moved to Dallas & are clueless about the lay of the land. My stress level was high, but after talking to the people at Vitals we were able to relax completely.

First walk in and ask info where to get birth certificate she direct me to go down escalator. Next, met an officer ask politely why am I’m here. I told him I need a long birth certificate and he told grab an clipboard with the form and fill it out and then give it to him. When I gave to him he gave me a number. Now all I had to wait. Brenda Rice was the clerk. She was very helpful asssiting me. Overall I’m about 30 min. I got what I need.

Every time I visit here I’m in and out in less than a hour. The clerks, staff and security are all very professional and the numbering system is the best in the business. Coming from Florida and Illinois, Dallas by far had all the other DMV’s and Records Office beat. Special thanks to an agent named Edgar who helped me out tremendously. Thank you sir.
