Dallas County Marriage License

We had Deputy Charlene Jackson and she was incredible! We had such a pleasant experience obtaining our marriage license through her. From the moment we stepped into her office, she was kind and made the process so smooth. Deputy Jackson even did a quick photoshoot of us with our marriage certificate. Highly recommend her!

I think most of you can relate to this… by the time you’re getting your marriage license, you’re planning your wedding, dealing with the latest details, work, and just life in general… often times you have to drive downtown and dealt with traffic… stress levels are high, even though it’s supposed to be a great experience. I have to say that Mrs. Charleen Jackson went above and beyond with the process and the way she talked and treated my fiancé and I. She was incredibly sweet that made our experience the best possible; I had to go back just to say THANK YOU! She even offered to take photos of us before we left and reminded us of how important this day was.

Mrs. Jackson was such a pleasure! She was so kind and personable and made the experience very easy to navigate. She truly went above in beyond to ensure we took in the moment, understood next steps and this moment with one another!

Ordered 3 copies of my marriage license and never received them. When I contacted the office they basically told me there’s nothing they could do and told me to reach out to the postal service. The post office couldn’t help due to me not having a tracking number. I begged for someone to help me and all I got was, you should’ve purchased the prepaid envelope that provided tracking. So now I’m out of $35 and have to pay for my marriage license again. I spoke to 3 different people and no one was willing to help!

Today, May 5th tried to set appt to get marriage license. Next available appt is June 21st. That's a four week wait. Tarrant County, we can get right in. WTH, I've been paying Dallas County Taxes since 1993 and can't get timely service.

This day of obtaining our marriage license was made even more special by the kind and charming Ms. Jackson. As excited as we were to be starting this journey, Ms. Jackson seemed to be as equally excited for us. I am trying to fill out the online application and I would really like to know if I can get married without having a social security number and the price of the license. Thank you

My fiancé and I attended our meeting to acquire our marriage certificate. We were greeted by one of the nicest individuals we have ever met. Her name was Charlene Jackson. She was very personable and made our time at the facility enjoyable and memorable. We appreciate her positive attitude and the overall experience she provided us during our visit.

We had such a great time getting our marriage license with Ms. Jackson! We scheduled an early appointment so that there was no wait and that gave us plenty of time to go through everything we needed to do! The building was gorgeous and Ms. Jackson was so friendly. We even had a photoshoot afterwards so make sure you come ready to take some photos!

Ms. Jackson went above and beyond for us. She gave sound advice and even took pictures for us. All the other clerks that we encountered congratulated us. She made a mundane task feel like an monumental event. We are forever grateful.
