Camillo is a great Doctor, and the only reason I put up with everything that is wrong with this facility! But the wait times are outrageous, and the office staff/billing never seem to know what they are doing. You can arrive early for your appointment time, and you still won't be seen for at least an hour. They will claim to have her voicemails if they call you (even though you never get one). It's truly a mess.

I’ve been coming to this practice for many yrs. Dr. Worrell and the physicians are phenomenal however the long holds when you call is crazy. I literately have to make multiple calls throughout the day to get through and possibly can get my request in that day.

Edit: you would think coming here for over 10 yrs long you’d be treated like they value you, nope! The reps there behind the counter could care less. Don’t want to work with you or even inquire on how they can help you with a situation. Currently looking for a new provider with less staff turnover and better customer service. It’s bittersweet because Dr. Worrell is a great provider. It’s the staff that make this place so bad.

Very unprofessional appointment at 11am still haven't seen the doctor, the staff is trash.no customer service at all, can't answer a simple question I hate I paid my copay! This is ridiculous. I mostly definitely won't be back!

Called ahead 10 minutes before coming, and they still messed up with the paperwork. (Which they messed up the day before and the nurse's responsible for that left early due to personal reason). Waited another 30 minutes just to have 1 page print and a signature. (Which the front desk staff doesn't start doing after 20 minutes)
The doctor is nice and friendly but the staff makes me mad

Extremely long wait times with appointment and excessive amount of time to perform simple tasks. I work within the healthcare field and this is unreasonable for any office. They were taking down blinds during morning rush hours rather than attending to patients.

The only positive things I can say about this business are that Dr. Worrell is friendly and seems knowledgeable. I discovered they have been double paid by my insurance company and myself and have not answered my message asking for an explanation or refund. There seems to be a trend of questionable business practices and I do not plan on returning.

Edit: After calling several times, they agreed to cut me a check for the amount I had been billed on my credit card, since I was double billed. I appreciate the resolution to this issue.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I’m typically a demanding patient because I have high expectations and they had outstanding, excellent customer service and Anam, Jordan were super gentle and friendly. I’m happy to say that I finally found my family clinic. Thank you!

What is the point of appointments when you only get seen an hour after the appointment time? I came in 15 minutes early to my 11: 30 appointment. WHY DID I GET SEEN ONLY AT 12: 30 AND THEN WAITED FOR THE DOCTOR EVEN LONGER? I spent 2 hours there, with an appointment!

For some reason they repeatedly call but won't leave a voicemail. When confronted on the phone, after being on hold for 5 minutes they have no clue who you are talking about or recognize the number they are calling. That is after you call them back for hanging up on you. Haven't lived in Dallas in over 10 years. Staff seems clueless. I would recommend this for the treatment of hurt anything.

Dr. Paul Worrell is the best! He listens to his patients and has the sweetest soul ever! Dr. Paul Worrell is the best! He listens to his patients and has the sweetest soul ever! I really love this doctor! I’ve never seen any doctor so considerate, caring & lovable as Dr. Worrell. May God bless him continuously.

Dallas Family Medicine is the worst run doctor's office I have ever experienced. Whether you have an appointment or walk-in, you will wait 2-3 hours to be seen. The front desk staff is extremely rude and never willing to accommodate individual patient needs. I have witnesses numerous patients arrive late to their appointment by only 1 minute, and the front desk staff will consider them a no-show, charge them a no-show fee, and then put the patient at the bottom of the walk-in list. These patients are often elderly, non-English speakers and in obvious pain.

To make matters worse, once you finally see Dr. Worrell, he will try to sell you on every medical test and procedure under the sun to increase clinic revenue. I came in for a routine medication refill appointment, and he pressured me into getting a sleep study, EKG, drug screening and pap smear. How an osteopathic doctor is permitted to perform such an array of treatments on a well patient is beyond me.

Avoid this clinic at all costs.

I would give them zero stars if I could they are very unprofessional my appointment was at 11: 15 am I was sitting for a hour in a half. Ask to speak with a manager they had lunch brought to the office so everyone there was having a good time in the back with a lobby full of people. The MA’s are unprofessional especially the front desk give attitude. I don’t recommend to anyone they need a lot of work to do.

Had a scheduled appointment and currently STILL waiting in the lobby after an hour. Ridiculous.

Uppity staff, really unprofessional front desk. Too pricy and if you go, come with a cot and plan to spend the whole day, and you dare not complain, cos not only will your complaints be addressed with barely concealed disdain, but you will be further penalized with more wait time and the silent treat. This one male Dr. Young with ginger hair and beard is cool though. Really friendly guy. Missed his name

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!

Where do I start…the first part is, the nursing line goes straight to voicemail and they never get back to you so to actually talk to someone about any issue, they force you to come in to speak with them which costs money. Dr. Whirl will try to prescribe you everything under the sun and treats you more so like cattle going through the line. An “educated” salesman if you will.

The second part is I switched my insurance provider and sent in these credentials to the nursing station email that they told me to send the information to (by the way, they do absolutely nothing in the emails), two weeks before I was trying to get my prescriptions. My information was never updated in the system, so I had to go in person to then get everything switched over. Dr. Whirl will only speak with you once or twice, then the physicians will speak with you and dr. Whirl can override whatever they say to you, and they never update you. I all of the sudden get told they are no longer taking my provider before I get my next refills so now I need to switch doctors, but on top of that I was told my the physician that I could pick up my prescription on the 23rd from when I got it last which was the 24th of last month. Last month was a short month so it was the three day early window. CVS said they were filling it and I planned doing a work trip for a week AROUND the date that was told to me. I spent 3,000 dollars to leave tomorrow morning after having my prescription but come to find out, they put in the notes “do not fill until the 25th” by Dr. Whril. They never called me and told me this. I planned my trip around this. I will not have this when I travel which I spent money on and booked around. Also, when I called all they said was “he’s seeing patients, whatever he says is what it is, he can’t talk, can’t do anything about your travel, and we don’t have to update you/the physician you saw, whatever she said to you, simply does no matter.

I have had insurance for three months and have had to come out of pocket for my prescriptions because of the lack of care and laziness of this office. The absolute worst place that I have ever been to with no communication acting as if we live in 1910 and need to be charged 100 dollars for a forced office visit to have them say “just call the nursing station next time. ”. Yeah. Tried that. Tried it for months. Doesn’t work. Avoid this place everyone.

*update- 3/24- “ my savings program ended today for my prescription which is why my doctor prescribed my refill for the 25th and not 23rd. What a joke.
