This place is the best in dfw if you want a professional experience and know what you're getting as far as a companion animal. I have learned so much from Ranna (spelling?). Guy is super chill and passionate about what he does. If you want an exotic bird that will love you, this is the place to go. Was well worth the drive

Very impressive store! The owner and all the workers are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the birds. Their birds are so beautiful and very well taken care of. You can tell it's not just a business trying to make a sale, but a passion turned into something special. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to this store if you're in search of the perfect bird or necessities for them.

We brought home a sassy caique from Dallas Parrots a month ago and we adore our new family member. She has such a sweet temperament thanks to being handled often and trained by the staff there. She isn’t fearful or aggressive and she has been a gentle goofball with everyone she has met. We’re so happy with our new baby!

This is a wonderful place to visit if you have pet birds or are thinking about adopting any. The staff know their stuff and clearly love the animals. We've acquired two feather babies here and have learned so much. Highly recommend!

I bought a newly-weaned quaker parrot from Dallas Parrots in September of 2022. While I had a great experience from the get-go with Dallas Parrots, I wanted to wait for a while before reviewing to ensure that the bird that I brought home was healthy and well adjusted.and after having Bloo for about 6 months now, I can confidently say that I am 100% pleased with not only their service, but the health and adjustment of my bird!

The care that the staff takes in socializing and handling their hatchlings makes such a HUGE difference. Even though Bloo was only about 10 weeks old, he came home already trained to step up and was very comfortable being handled in general. It was clear that he was used to multiple people handling him, which is sooo beneficial. He was also weaned on a pellet/dried fruit/nut blend (their house blend) so I didn't need to transition him from a seed diet like I did previous birds. He also was very open and accepting of fresh foods and tries most everything I give him, which will be great for his health (I previously had a flock of rescued cockatiels, and it was very difficult to get them on a healthy diet).

Even though he was clipped when we got him, the clip seems to be fairly light.we've been able to do flight training and recall training, and he can fly from the floor to about hip height (or to my shoulder, if I'm sitting), so he's definitely retaining his flight instinct, which I'm grateful for.

When I took him for his first vet visit not long after I brought him home, the vet said he was in perfect health and he tested negative for the common communicable avian illnesses. The vet and tech were also impressed by how well socialized he was to being handled - the tech said usually quakers give him the worst bites, but Bloo didn't bite once (which is not to say he's never bitten at all.quakers are spicy!).

The birds we saw in the store both times we visited all appear very well-cared for and in clean, appropriate conditions. The staff clearly loves the birds and cares about their wellbeing.

Parrot ownership is always an adventure, but Dallas Parrots helping us get started on the right foot has been wonderful! We live about 45 minutes away, but we will definitely return there regularly for any parrot supplies we need.:)

Just wow … what an unbelievable experience we had! This place doesn’t compare to any other bird shop I’ve visited. The staff is amazing the owner was incredibly knowledgeable, understanding, and compassionate about his birds and his business. All of his birds that are for sale are trained not to bite and do not show any signs of behavioral problems or neglect. This really helps people that are scared or unsure of birds “like my wife” when trying to hold them or pet them. His store is very clean and comfortable. He has a great selection of birds, cadges, stands, toys, accessories, and even homemade food.
If you’re on a budget … no problem simply pick out what you really want and then they will work something out with you on pricing.
The African grey was my dream bird but I was always intimidated by the size of them. I’ve always had smaller birds like a rainbow lorikeet and my sisters sun conure. But after holding Ozzy for 5 minutes I realized I was in love. He was unsure of me but was willing to let me hold him and pet him. After 45 minutes or so of holding him and looking around the store he was relaxed and engaged with what I was doing and saying. My sister purchased a caique after his friend that he was playing with got sold. Know we have 3 happy babies that all get along with each other. They all love to be snuggled and none of them have bitten.

Dallas parrots was an amazing experience! I have been considering a bird for a while but wanted more advice and help with the process. Store manager Rana made the experience unbelievably wonderful! From picking out my perfect feathered friend, to outfitting us with an amazing set up! It was a wonderful experience and time. They are also exceptional at making sure you feel comfortable and that you feel free to ask any questions at any time. Looking forward to returning in the future!

Dallas parrots is the best! Store is clean, you can tell all the birds are well taken care of. I am so glad I purchased my blue Quaker from them. I live out of town and they made the pick up convenient.

Way to pricey I paid 900 in Florida and nj for a Congo gray not 6 grand birds I've had in past I've paid 400 for Conuars. Are 1500 way to priced

So I have visited the store 3 times. Each time, Rana, the Store Manager was very patient with me. He understands that the purchase of a bird is not solely instinctive and takes time. As I got to know Rana, I discovered that his love for the store and his birds are beyond comprehension. His knowledge is unlimited. So as of today, I purchased our Green Cheek Conure Pineapple. Rana ensured that the cage was fully equipped and took the time to answer all questions. Rachel, the trainer, was extremely helpful and my wife was very comfortable on her selection. This is the store to go to. Contact any Avian Vet in the area and tell them you purchased from Dallas Parrots and they will tell you that you have a quality bird. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. They work with you and will not just try to sell you any bird. They understand Aviary needs and will share that knowledge with you. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience all the way around. I went initially just to view the selection of birds and gain more insight and left with my new beautiful baby, Diego the High Red Sun Conure. The staff is so wonderful and answered every single question I had about every bird. I stayed for around 2-3 hours; they even let me play/bond with Diego for a long time before I decided on him. I would highly suggest Dallas Parrots if you’re considering adding a bird of any kind to your family. They are knowledgeable, caring, patient and professional. One of the things that meant the most to me is the fact they take the time to work with each and every bird. This enables the birds to be used to human interaction and be comfortable; as well as most are started on their training journey. They taught Diego how to wave and spin already! The other thing is when purchasing a bird it comes with a hatch certificate and unique # meaning they know exactly where each beautiful bird comes from! Cannot say/write enough about my positive experience!

Fahad was absolutely fantastic and helped us find our perfect match. Even though we had a previous bird I still considered myself a bird novice. Fahad was able to give us so much details on the personalities of each bird and which would be the best fit for our family. He continued to check on us after we brought our baby home and made sure we were at ease with the transition. Thank you Fahad for helping us pick the perfect new member of our family.

Was looking for a blue Quaker baby. Found Dallas Parrots and was not disappointed. Fahad sent me video of the store and wow! Super clean and everything you can think of for your feathered family member. Received several videos and picture updates of my new Quaker Captain as I live on the east coast. When I picked him up from the airport he was not stressed at all. You can tell he has had a lot of time spent with him. Super sweet and confident. Can tell they really love the birds they raise and keep checking to make sure that everything is going good and if I need any help with my new little guy. Will be buying another addition from them in the future.
