I lost my little toe since I was two years old in an accident. For many years my big toe fill up a missing toe and caused my toe to severely deform. It also cut off my blood circulation with bruises and painful foot experiences. I was in a hospital with a heart attached symptom. It turned out the foot cut off my blood circulation. I called 4 orthopedic offices in DFW for consultation, but they all do not handle a complicated foot problem. They then told me that I need to see podiatrist specialist foot surgeon. I went to Dr. Joel Brook 10 years ago before my most recent one a few months ago. He did recommend that I should insert a rod in my toe to keep it straight, but I was not ready 10 years ago. This time was different. I urgently needed it and Dr. Joel Brook goes above and beyond his professional and personnel to his patients. He immediately offered to put me on an emergency surgery schedule. He enrolled himself to my insurance network before I even asked, in order to fix my broken foot. On the day of my surgery, he waited until the office was about to close to make sure that I was doing okay in the recovery room. With his expertise and exceptional skills set, he did a minimum cut on my surgery to allow the tissues to heal with minimal scarring. Even with a metal rod and 5 screws in place, I was able to do a limp walk in one month without crutches, and I fully recovered after 3 months. It is a miracle that I was saved by Dr. Joel. I called him my angel doctor. He put his patient on top of his best interests. I was turned down many times for the treatment by other orthopedic doctors and Dr Joel always offered to help in any way before I even asked him for help. He is dedicated, professional, and the most exceptional doctor that I have ever met in my life. He enjoys being a surgeon and loves his work. His staff are also very friendly and nice. If you want the best outcome on your foot surgery, you are in a right place under Dr. Joel Brook's care. I have no doubt that he is one of the very best foot surgeons in DFW. I am very blessed to be under his care! Thank you very much Dr. Joel Brook (my angel)! Come and see doctor Joel Brook for yourself. We always need many more good doctors in this world like Dr. Joel Brook. He saved my life and I hope he will save you too.

Dr. Tran is very kind, but his assistant Laura is the rudest doctor's assistant I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, her incredibly unprofessional behavior has lost this practice two patients - myself and my daughter. Some people really need to be trained in basic communication skills, and in Laura's case, Anger Management as well. Incredibly unprofessional and rude behavior from her.

I have never been to a more professional doctors office. Dr. Brooks was amazing with my daughter. He was honest and professional. When we left, he thanked us for coming in and said that he was honored that we chose his office. I’ve never had a doctor say something like that. His office called us a week later to give us an update and to let us know that he hasn’t forgotten about us. I highly recommend this office and doctor for his knowledge and professionalism.

The medicure didn’t last 10 min. It was just a cut and a foot scrub, not worth $45. They didn’t even clean under my nail

I had a Medicure. Instead of trimming my nails straight across, she cut deep into the sides. Every good nail tech knows you don’t do this. Then she ground the tops. That was it. Don’t waste your money—$45!

Dr. Tran was very informative and helpful. He explain the process well for my ingrown toenail. It was fast and efficient. Friendly office as well. Recommend going here for all your foot and ankle problems

Dr. Northcutt was amazing! He did a great job of explaining the options for my son's toe. He was very thorough and took his time to make sure I understood what our options were. Very friendly, great sense of humor, and overall a very down to earth doctor. Glad we found him!

Dr. Brooks was in a hurry and rushed me out. It was a terrible visit and a waste of time and money. Nothing was resolved.

Dr. Arroyo is wonderful! She correctly diagnosed my foot pain and treated it quickly and effectively, unlike the other doctor I had been to previously. The other doctor told me it was "just a callus" and it would go away. Dr. Arroyo asked more questions and did an x-ray, and I actually had a more serious condition that required surgery! She performed the surgery herself, everything went well, and now I have no more pain!

Dr. Brook, has a well tuned staff. The from office are efficient, friendly and professional. Dr Brook, Dr. Arroyo and Dr. Baca are the kind of doctors that the patient first. They really do go out of their way to please.

All i can say is thanks to Dr. Irene Arroyo I still have a right foot. I am a diabetic that had foot issues, 3 surgeries I still have my right foot. Her care has been of the highest quality. She truly cares about her patients and takes the time to answer questions no matter how silly they may seem.

I would recommend her for issues you may have with your feet.

Dr Northcutt has done two separate surgeries on my feet he is an awesome doctor and you can call him day or not and he will return your call, highly recommend him, wonderful office staff also ️

Dr Brook was a complete arrogant jerk! First: I thought I would see a doctor when i walked in the office, but I ended up seeing some female in a lab coat who wanted me to sign up for "medical pedicures". (Not covered by insurance-and certainly not including nail polish or foot massage!)
Apparently she has some "training" that does not seem to constitute a medical degree as far as I could tell or a Texas Cosmetology license (I asked) and she was indignant and flustered when I asked her why she was wearing a lab coat. When I finally saw him, he claimed I had "lots of fungus" and took clippings for testing. (No, he was totally WRONG but I had already paid for the test!) He then wanted to know where I had pain. He seemed disappointed I didn't have any. However he persisted in wanting to sell me European made "orthopedic" clown shoes that anyone can purchase online. Seriously, if this guy is rated #1 in the Dallas Magazine, he certainly didn't earn it with his professional demeanor. I kept thinking "Lou Costello" and HE should wear those shoes!

Always a good experience to go get my Medicure! The technicians are pleasant and do a great job. Thank you for providing that sevice for those of us that have foot problems that make it hard to get our feet cared for in other places.

Dr. Northcutt was absolutely wonderful! He explained everything I needed to know about my foot problem and then he explained how we could go about fixing it. I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise concerning the foot and my toes. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I found them online after doing a search for "Plano Podiatrists. " They had a lot of stars after their name. I read the reviews. They were accurate. Dr. David Northcutt was very through and helpful. The office assistants were nice and friendly and also offered good advice on exercises for my plantar faciitis.

Dr Northcutt has been a great doctor. He found my problem and he took extreme caution on treating my big toe with an ulser. I am happy to say my toe is now heeled. I will see Dr Northcutt for a recheck.
