I worked closely with John Black on a complicated legal malpractice case on behalf of a Houston company whose white shoe Washington DC lawyers had badly let it down. The law firm would never admit their serious errors. With persistence and intense lawyering, we were able to break down the denials by the law firm. John was instrumental in our success. I highly recommend him and his team at Daly & Black.

Andrew Dao certainly got the job DONE! I’m glad I put my trust into him and Daly&Black because the outcome was PHENOMENAL. There are many moving parts that take place behind the scenes in personal injury suits that us clients are unaware of. However, Andrew kept me in the loop with what was taking place and assured me he was doing everything in his power to advocate for me and he did just that. UPDATE: The office contacted me June 28,2023 about my review (see below). My case was closed by the end of April 2023. My case was taken over by another Attorney Kayvon Alihossini. I was contacted by Attorney Alihossini at the end of March 2023. He explained that he was going to be working on my case. He was polite, respectful, and answered any questions I had. He returned phone calls and emails. I felt as if he cared.

I never heard from Attorney Andrew Dao, to me it felt as if my case wasn’t big enough or important for him to at least return my calls. From February 2022 till the end of April 2023, I only heard from Attorney Dao once after I hired him. I imagine he was just too busy to reach out. I think also it would have been professional/polite if he had at the very least sent me an email to tell me that another attorney would be working on my case. This WAS NOT a great experience for me. What is done is done. We can’t go back in time and undo the misplacement of my paperwork on several occasions or the lack of communication.

Hopefully his next client will have a better experience.

The only phone calls I receive is when they lose my paperwork and they need me to resend. Tried to call the office to speak to Andrew, I left a messages 4 months ago and still haven’t heard from him. Last time I heard from the office was on 11/16/22, today is 01/13/23. It was the third time that I sent them the same paperwork.

Daly & Black is an amazing law firm. They handled clients' hail damage claims. Maria Gerguis, a partner and trial lawyer, is the absolute best. Will be referring clients to them in the future. They're very responsive, professional, care about the little people, and WIN cases.
