David C Loftice, DO, Bonham TX

I recently move to this area from California and my primary care physician there rarely spent more than three minutes with me. Not his fault. Sadly, that's the way healthcare is in California for the vast majority of folks.
Therefore, it was very nice not feel I was in an assembly line environment here. Doctor Loftice takes the time to adequately listen and examine and I never felt that he was in a hurry to get to the next patient.
I have had a few emergent issues and Doctor Loftice was very accommodating to work me in for an evaluation.
He and his staff are friendly and professional.

Extremely Disappointed with Dr. Loftice's Unprofessionalism

I am utterly disappointed with Dr. Loftice's unprofessional behavior and lack of empathy. I had been a patient at Loftice's clinic for quite some time, but they recently dropped me for missing a few appointments. While I understand the importance of punctuality and respecting their time, Dr. Loftice's response was completely disproportionate and showed a complete disregard for patient well-being.

First and foremost, life can be unpredictable, and unforeseen circumstances can arise that may cause a patient to miss an appointment. However, instead of showing understanding or attempting to discuss the matter, Dr. Loftice abruptly terminated our doctor-patient relationship without any consideration for my situation.

As a medical professional, one would expect Dr. Loftice to display compassion and a willingness to work with patients to find a solution. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Dr. Loftice demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and seemed more interested in maintaining a rigid schedule than providing quality healthcare.

Furthermore, the lack of communication from Dr. Loftice was both surprising and disappointing. There were no prior warnings or reminders about the importance of attending appointments, and no attempt was made to reschedule or accommodate my circumstances. It is disheartening to feel like just another number on Dr. Loftice's schedule, rather than an individual in need of medical attention.

The decision to drop a patient for missing a few appointments reflects a severe lack of understanding and compassion for the complexities of life. It is distressing to be treated as if Dr. Loftice values their own time more than the well-being of their patients.

I strongly advise against seeking the services of Dr. Loftice if you value a doctor who demonstrates empathy and puts their patients first. It is crucial to find a healthcare provider who prioritizes patient care, maintains open lines of communication, and shows understanding in challenging situations. Unfortunately, Dr. Loftice falls short in these essential aspects, leaving patients like myself feeling neglected and abandoned.

In conclusion, my experience with Dr. Loftice was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend their services to anyone seeking compassionate and patient-centered care.

First doctor I've seen that gets it right 100% of the time. And I've been seeing him for several years.

Texoma Care staff is always very helpful and friendly. The facilities are clean, roomy and comfortable. I have never had to wait long. Dr. Loftice is a pleasant and concerned physician who explains everything clearly and always gives helpful advice for medical choices.

I have seen Dr. Loftice one time. I found him professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk with, concerned about getting all relevant medical information I had, and spent more than adequate time with me. His staff, especially the front desk employee and the nurse could not have been more helpful, offering typed and verbal information I would need. I recommend him highly.

I love him! Because I am an addict in recovery it was important for me to have someone with an understanding of addiction as well as be an excellent care giver. He is both! I cannot give any higher recommendations to him and the facility. Thank you for such wonderful care!

Since retaining Dr Loftice at the Bonham TMC clinic I feel more confident that my healthcare needs are being met. The commitment by Dr Loftice and his staff is the main reason for this 5 star review.
