Davis Mountain RV Park reviews
15Stayed here 4 nights. Super easy sites to pull into with 40' motorhome and tow vehicle and dang near perfectly level. The full hookups all worked perfectly. It is a real handy location for accessing the state park and the fort. It is right on a state highway but there was very little traffic at night. Relatively quiet place. Never saw the owners but never needed their assistance with anything.
SUCH a great experience. We ended up extending our stay due to issues with our RV and the owners were so friendly and helpful. Full hookups, clean bathroom with a shower, and a laundry room stocked with books. The views and location can’t be beat.
This campground is very nice and well kept, WiFi was reliable and quick. The bathrooms look new and well kept. The laundry room is very nice and it's location was very ideal along with fair pricing.
Nice little campground with full RV hookups, bathroom, and laundry. My first night there the 20 amp power wouldn't work, but when I called Pam, she sent Buster right down to troubleshoot and fix the problem. After that, he gave me my welcome packet with local pecans, maps, and brochures for local attractions. Great hosts.
Stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Fort Davis. Excellent accommodations! I was initially disappointed that I couldn't get a spot at the state park until I realized there is no cell service in the state park campground. Great cell coverage in the RV park. Very convenient to all the tourist spots. They also have a restroom and shower, wifi, and laundry room with 2 washers and dryers. Uses quarters, no change machine. Wasn't crowded any night I was there. Seems like more people just stay one night. Don't overlook Fort Davis. It has a lot to offer!
Great place friendly mangers who live along side property and the wife feels comfortable walking the fur children new place with a nice view good pricing wifi available full hookups 30/50 amp good water sewer working pretty level close to POI everywhere hwy 17 towards Balmorhea, Texas add plenty of magic Hour photo ops.so far will add more later as we drive and catch on the fly
Good WiFi, good facilities but be prepared for stickers to be in everything when you leave. We are still picking stickers out of things.
A great place to stay. Clean, quiet and you can't beat the views. I stayed there for 6 months and would most certainly stay again.
What can I say, very nice RV park. Very quiet and peaceful, beautiful scenery and the owner and staff were so very friendly that you feel you are with family. Full hookups, they are working on bathhouse. For $30.00 a night, you can't beat that price. Will be going back again.
Fairly new RV Park with 24 sites with full hookups. No amenities. Fairly level sites with gravel. The couple who owns it is very nice and greets you with a welcome packet of things to do in the area.
Nice quiet little RV park with big sky views of the Davis Mountains. Convenient to Fort Davis stores and restaurants. Our hosts were great following up and providing local attractions info. They have planted some new trees that will add to the ambiance.
Large clean full hookup sites. No table but great wifi - steady without dropping off. Internet a little slow - but consider where we are. Buster (one of the owners) came by to welcome us. Very nice touch.
Great park and friendly owner and staff will be back when i come this way, God bless thanks for information packes of area and for the pecans and special pennies
Quiet, no frills park. Full hookups and pull thrus. Fabulous views and starry skies. Loved the sites in Fort Davis. Star party at the McDonald Observatory was awesome. Be sure to book that ahead. Buster and Pam were so nice.
Pleasantly surprised by this RV park. Everyone was super friendly & helpful, especially Buster (He’s the owner). Though close to the highway we didn't find noise levels to be an issue. The sites are large on gravel, easy hookup and pull through. Highly recommend this place
