4I've been here a few times to scrap AC units. Today was probably my 5th visit. On one of my last trips I brought in 5 outdoor units that I tore apart and scrapped. They paid about $280. Today I brought in 4 outdoor units, 4 indoor units, and 2 extra full aluminum coils. Somehow that was only worth $220. They said I only had 17 pounds of copper when I had closer to 30. I told the girl in the office that it was low compared to previous trips and she just said "Oh. ". I'll be finding a different place to take my metal to from now on.
If you are trying to recycle don't use this place. They rip you off. My pig is over 100lbs and the items we brought in weighed more then her and they claimed it was only 38lbs. So be careful.they are just ripping people off. Went to Corpus and the same items were weighed in at 122.
This place offers great service and treats you like family. If you ever have a problem they will help you. I have been a customer for years.
Do not go to this place if you Get a flat on their property they would not be responsible they need to keep their place clean for customers
