Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston / West Energy Corridor

This place is a roach / beg bug infested crack hotel. Was there only 10 mins most of which was at the front deck checking in. And left. I’d rather sleep in my car than stay at this place. Ppl doing drugs in the hallway. Shady ppl in the halls. Very unsafe place.

HORRIBLE! I rented 2 rooms for the weekend. Came for a family event traveling with my 81 yr old Mom
They gave me keys to first room.walk in.maintenance is fixing something in there. They give us another.walk in.people never checked out. Finally the 3rd room.smells nasty.not enough towels.no hot water. Had to wait for maintenance to come check the boiler. Are you kidding me? I am very disappointed and will NEVER stay here again. They tell you anything to brush you off so you have to keep calling. They need to do better.
HORRIBLE STAY!

This place is trash. Checked out within 2 hours of checking in because bedbugs practically chased me out. The smell of weed was something else. Will never recommend this place for my enemy. I wish I can rate this place zero

If it was as possible to give the place a -10 I would! Being forced to give a 1 star is absolutely unfair I was treated unfairly no one cared at all I feel like I deserve a refund I heard nothing! I checked in on the 8th of January 24 at around 11 ish pm I booked three Priceline there were bed bugs crawled on my child the rooms didn’t have little to no hot water sheets were already dirty with blood stains hair and black stains from I guess the previous guests when I called the front office he basically said there’s nothing for him to do and wait till the morning to speak to his manger with spending my last and having any where to go we had no choice I laid the towels down and I laid on top of that while my 17 year old child laid on me with using my bathroom as cover I couldn’t sleep just to make sure she had rest without any bed bugs crawling on her, because I was told the laundry room was closed for clean sheets when I asked thankfully we made it till morning with little to no sleep I booked and paid for the room for shower and sleep and I didn’t get either when I checked out with my complaints in videos I was lied too and the manger wasn’t there as the front desk agent this me just hours ago that he would be there at 9am check out was 11 he then stats well idk what u want me to do I had videos of the bed bugs the hair the blood stain and no one cared that my child was in the mess no apologies no refund not a care just felt like the blame and faults were on me had to leave the room unshowered dirty itchy and unrested the issues wasn’t reported by front desk but by cooperate because yes I called!

I had a great stay here and SHOUTOUT SIERRA THE HOSTESS AT THE FRONT DESK! She helped me with the booking process and is very professional. Her costumer service made me know this was gonna be a good stay at the least but I had a really good time at this hotel! Thanks Days Inn for hiring such great employees.

Front desk is rude as hell. Not even a guest at this hotel but have received over 25 phone calls from the front desk number since 3am.
This is psychotic.

This review is a reflection on the policy of the company. I have stayed previously at this hotel. The problem has been reservation. Yes, there is non-refundable and non-cancellation policy which i get it. Did you know this applies even if you change dates? I book a reservation in the middle of it i click and back forward on the screen to make sure the facts was good, but it changed dates when i click confirmed. I immediately call back within 2-3 minutes after reserving to see if i can change the dates. It was supposed to be this weekend but by default they put it the weekend after. IN PRACTICALITY, they should have rooms available because it showed that they did and also this honest mistake i made was done within minutes. The representative of this hotel said NO to the agents helping me and to me. Because of their non-cancellation policy.

This situation is absurd. I understand many reasons why you can't accomodates many reasons. Like i said, this booking happen within minutes and i got told No. So they just ruined the weekend for me and companion.

Rented a room for a overnight stay on dec, 6. Front desk attendant was rude as hell. Unprofessional by calling me a pet name "sweetheart". I almost gagged. She argued back and forth with me about my choice of card. Then when I gave her " my choice" she had an attitude about it. Gave me a room that had a big hole in the wall. So I go down to let them know and she says "you act like that hole is gonna be bothering you. ". Well yes, it most certainly does that #1. The Days Inn is in the hospitality business expected by this local community to train there front desk reception to be kinder and bit more understanding. Because I know what it's like to receive the opposite while at the same time less the expense equals to what I could easily have received from a competing hotel nearby. Give me, a clean room, stocked completely, everything works in it and something called HOSPITALITY! For my money. Cause at the end of the day it's me not yourself the room is being paid for as well as guest services and hospitality. I got a grumpy retired veteran attitude from the two ladies at the desk. I hope management sees my post and addresses it so future guest are not inconvenienced. That's the young bright skinned lady along with her dark skinned prote'ge. They both were inconsiderate and among other things just flat out rude. Sweetheart isn't my name I very much can appreciate Mr along with the last name on the identification card I just handed to you.

The room was ok. There was a big hole in the bathroom door. The room has central ac, small fridge and microwave in room. Bring towel and amenities. Hotel provides soap and shampoo. Breakfast was chocolale chip and blueberry muffins, cereal, and juice. The front desk staff was very friendly.

We are from Colorado and every time we come to Houston for a family vacation we’ve always chose this hotel so many times, we had great experience so far, but this time Nov 13,2023 was horrible, this manager Edward is the worst and scammer person, he charged my Dad without any authorization or even called him that he got charged on his card, the reason is that because of smoking in the room, first of all we don’t smoke, we’re a Christian family and we don’t do that, we are family that only come here for vacation and stay at a good place
Please Edward stop doing that it you’ll get a bad standing

If I could give negative stars I would! They have bedbugs on all the rooms and treated me like I was infested with bedbugs. They had no accommodation, and each time room service would come. They wouldn’t bring extra shampoo or toiletries or towels, then this Hispanic girl in the front with piercings, all over her face and a tattoo got disrespectful, and wanted to fight me because she messed up on a payment that didn’t go through the day before, so she said we owed it even though we paid for it she called the cops on us and we got kicked out but the cops did nothing when I told them that she was selling drugs out of the same establishment we were getting kicked out of. They said they have other people to deal with that type of thing so we’ll see. I repeat, do not come to this establishment they robbed me for $107.00

In truth, the hotel has improved a lot in terms of cleanliness, but it is a shame that they have many dirty people living there, it is very bad to see strange guys in the hallways, what to improve I suggest they remove the sofas, the truth is they are very old, the girls The cleaning staff were very kind, they always try to solve your needs, thank you.

From the outside it looks good, we got the room but when you get on the elevator there is a smell of cigarettes and not to mention the room is big but everything doesn't look or smell bad.

Scammers. They charge money and don’t give room. They cancel reservation by their own and charge money for full night.

Very spacious and quite clean room but unfortunately very bad experience in my stay, I had payment for two nights but I decided to leave before I did not sleep well on the sides and above my room I could hear screams of people arguing and children crying apparently being mistreated, It is a shame that there is no control over that since the place is quite accessible to everything, thank you but I do not recommend it
