De La Fuente Tacos de Birria, Garland TX

The food is amazing, I usually return to eat some birria tacos and quesadilla. The food is always delicious. Sometimes when I come to eat for dinner, they have music that is loud that you can’t have a conversation. The server are unattended most of the time. Didn’t give us refills until we asked for a refill for the drink. We had to look for her for our checks. The food was good & the service was terrible.

The birria tacos are delicious. I couldn't stop eating them. Probably some of the best birria tacos in the DFW. The pineapple aguas frescas was also delicious. And, they bring out free chips and salsa. The server was very sweet. My kids loved the art work on the walls inside the restaurant. And the bathrooms were clean. We'll definitely be back.

Don't expect good service, your water refilled or your server to check on you. We've been twice and the service is just awful. The food though, the food is amazing. It may take awhile to get to your table but it's worth it. The birria has so much flavor, they don't skimp on the meat and the consume isn't fatty at all. I just strongly recommend getting the food to go and eating in your car.

Music was SOOOOOO loud I couldn’t hear the people I went to eat with. I asked them to turn it down and they didn’t. My daughter ordered a taco kids meal and they brought out a fully priced adult meal, after I asked multiple times and they told me it was a kids meal. The service was poor. Food was edible but not anything to go back for or write home about. I will not be back. Sad, because it has the ability to be a great place. It was an unpleasant eating experience.

Place is nicely decorated, went in to dine in at 9, was asked if we wanted to be seated after we said yes they told us they close in an hr. We ended up ordering take out since it seemed they didnt want to seat anyone else. At the time they had 2 families and everyone coming in was leaving as they were being told same as us. Food was ok. Won't be returning.

This place was okay due to the waitresses not caring in the world about there job. The birria was not that flavorful but the churros were amazing and the cheesecake tasted like Tom Thumb cheesecake.

The food was delicious. I came in for a take out order the staff not friendly or welcoming at all and my order was incorrect. Service 1 out 10 The birra tacos 10 out of 10 paid for cheese on beans no cheese on beans 8.5 out of 10 Mexican Rice tasted scorched 2 out of 10.

Best Birria in town! Especially the quesabirria tacos. They put a lot of cheese and other places don’t. The flavor is always the same and on point. They are known for Birria so keep that in mind when ordering.

Have to make make you aware, twice I have gone up there and placed orders to go, and price on menu online and on the portal you get texted, DO NOT MATCH. I asked the guy up there (not the owner) why I was being charged a different price than what’s on the menu, and his answer and roll of of his eyes tells me, “oh it’s on the owner, I’ll tell him. ” But did not attempt to charge me the posted price. Bad service and inconsistencies will drive down, a good thing you got going here. Please do right thing by your guests.

Love the food here. Been eating here since day one when they first opened and the delicious birria flavor is always consistent. Called in my order to go, had it ready before my quoted time. On Fridays they have Karaoke, will have to stick around for that next time and amaze everyone with my rendition of Gin N Juice by Snoop Dogg, on the next visit

The best flavor of quesabirrias. The service is fenomenal we also tried the “la fuente steak” it is amaizing. On fridays they have kareoke and the atmosphere is really nice familiar ambient. We loved it!

Looks like this guy's dont know what large party auto gratitude means. They charge you extra money for nothing.

Stopped in for some birria tacos or quesadillas.
When I walked in I said hi to the host and said table for 1.
He never said a word to me the whole time to the table even after I said thank you.
Sever was sweet and kept up with everything during my visit.

I ordered the birria quesadilla. It was full of meat, but lacked more cheese and the consume was just eh. Not very flavorful or rich. Just kind of watered down beef broth.
I expected a pretty big portion at $15, but was disappointed with the pretty small amount of food I was given. Rice and beans were not good at all. Also birria is supposed to come with onions and cilantro and I recieved none of that. Based off the menu it seems like they charge anywhere from $1 to $4 for "extra" stuff.

Overall the place is very nice and clean. Staff other than person who sat me were nice and attentive. Pretty cool artwork on the walls as well, and looked like they had a nice litter bar set up.

I dont think I'll stop back by just because the food didn't wow me, especially for the price.

Whoever was working on 8/26 around 4: 30pm, owner needs to talk to the host and waitresses. It was slow and I asked the host if we could sit down anywhere and he was yea go ahead. We had been waiting for about 3 minutes and waitresses were all sitting down, and just looking at us. We sat down, But when 3 other groups came in, he sat them down and took care of them and completely ignored us. I was in shock. I lost the respect for this place. Never again will I go back.

Used to come here every time me and my family went to the Dallas area. Came back and i saw a whole table of waitresses sitting on their phone and giggling while we were waiting to be seated. We finally were told to seat ourselves so we did. Saw more customers coming in after us and then they decided to seat them and take their orders while we had been waiting to even get a waiter to us. They seated even more after that and so we finally chose to get up and leave. Glad that i did say something to one of the waitresses as we were leaving, “y’all need to learn to seat ALL of your customers. ” I would give a zero star if I could. Not to mention, the smell is as toxic as a fresh can of paint.

Food is awesome and I would be lying if I was saying otherwise but the service is absolute trash. We order Togo every week and they never give enough salsa for the tacos and the ones they do give us are half filled for a 6 taco order…… and the salsa cup the give you for the chips are the same way. I’ve tried to give them another chance each time this happens but this is my last time coming here because I’m them skimping me I don’t care how good the food is. Tortas are always skimpy too with meat. Just a shame to be cheap with your customers

The food is always perfect, we get the de la Fuente tacos. They’re filling and the consomé is so yummy. The music is too loud but the service and food are a 10/10

We loved coming here the food is great until the service became poor and now they put a large gratuity on our bill for THREE people, if you get poor service you’re going to be forced to tip no matter what. For that reason alone we will not be returning again, really sucks cause this was our spot for good tacos and quesadillas but we will find a new one that doesn’t force you to tip when you get mediocre service. The bathrooms also have an overwhelming smell of paint, and are usually disgusting and a mess.
