Deccan Grill Plano reviews
17Don’t give this place business. Manager yells at his worker in the back loud enough for all customers to hear because she gave a styrofoam box to a customer. She tells him that she wasn’t sure whether to do so or not because he does the same many times and he arrogantly says he’ll do whatever he wants because he’s the manager. He starts off yelling and when she responds he berates her telling her not to raise her voice. In what world is this a good leader/manager? Don’t give such a person your money.
Manager was yelling at his employee for something petty. Food was subpar and overpriced. There are alot of other good options in plano area but we wanted to give a new place a chance.
The only authentic Hyderabadi biryani in DFW metro area. Would have given 5 star if the restaurant was little more ambient but food and staff wise, it’s best in DFW metro area.
They were very personable and we both share a passion for soccer. Gotta give five stars just for that fact alone
This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The customer service was welcoming. I ordered the butter chicken because I heard my husband talking about. The butter chicken was so delicious wasn’t what I was expecting at all it was so flavorful and the naan with it made it even better. My daughter even loved it and she’s very picky. I will definitely go back.
When your selling Bagra khana Dalcha for 12.99$ what is the quantity of rice you guys are giving.sorry to say (pathla paani dalcha, hyderabadis shaami ku Anda Kab laagai) chote biscuit ke jaisa.
Please check other indian resturent how much quantity they give.
That's the reason our halal resturents goes out of business fast
Not even one normal person can eat properly
One more important thing it's not that your food is too tasty.
Dallas people dont have choice for other hyderabadi food resturent to get from.
Beef nihari is quite good. Need some improvement with the chicken Tika leg. Like make it softer and juicier and less hard.
This place doesn’t deserve business. The manager was fighting and raising his voice at his employee while we were literally sitting and eating lunch. He was just trying to assert his power dynamic on a female employee who did nothing wrong. Disgusting. Also the prices are high for a run down place that smells bad and serves subpar food.
EDIT: This place use to be called Al Maida. The review i left (below) was a review for "Al Maida", not Deacon Grill. I have not been to this location yet!
The food is always great. The people here are nice and respectful. Nice place to have dinner. And they're open late. Highly recommend. Cholay is good the the chicken biryani is what I always get. Recommend 10/10
We've been to this place couple of times. Good food and quick service. I would surely recommend.
Tried Paneer biryani here. Tasted good.
Not many options for vegetarians, only panner biryani. Don’t confuse this to the Deccan grill at frisco which has the by far worst food at Dallas.
Customer service was really good.
The customer service was great.
Bhagya you were very helpful for suggesting us the best dishes ‘Butter Chicken’ and ‘Biryani’.
Perfect place for hyderabad biryani.visited for my lunch, food was delicious and amazing customer service, will visit again for sure.
Catered from them for an event and the butter chicken is still something I’m craving. So so good. We also got their chicken 65, biryani, samosas etc and it was all delicious.
If you want authentic Hyderabadi Biryani, this is the place in Plano. Ms. Bhagyashree was extremely helpful and provided a great service.
This review is for Ramadan Iftar.
DO NOT GO FOR THE IFTAR BUFFET.
We did the reservation for 6 people and the table they gave us was for 4. When asked they didn’t have any answers because they don’t have any space. For the greed of money they over booked. No management.
They should be shamed to serve stale food in the month of Ramadan to people who are fasting.
