Deco Art is definitely the company you want to choose if you want that Pinterest looking wedding. I got married during the crazy arctic freeze that hit Houston recently and while I was having my outdoor ceremony those arctic winds started to hit. Deco art had made a beautiful flower crystal arrangement on this outdoor gazebo and not only was it incredibly beautiful it held up while that freezing wind was raging! Im a very anxious person and my biggest fear was that I was not going to be able to enjoy my wedding day because of all the possible things that could go wrong but as soon as I walked into the venue that day and saw how beautiful the decor was I felt so at ease. Everything was so beautiful it set the mood for the entire rest of the day. I knew no matter how crazy everything got, the day could not possibly be ruined with such amazing decorations in the background. Aslam himself was so amicable and professional throughout the entire process and his vision is unrivaled. Trust me when I say Deco Art is essential for your special day.

I had them do the decoration for my sisters birthday party and it honestly came out looking amazing. All of her friends complimented it and all in all everything for this company is perfect. I would totally recommend this to my friends and family. 10/10

Our decision of going with the DecoArt makes us regret till date.during our meeting with Mr. Aslam he assured us that everything's gonna be the way we want
and that he's gonna sit down with his team to discuss the detials incase if anything changes (making it sound like professionals which they are certainly not, atleast
in my case).
The day came and my brother went to the venue to check the decor around 2-3 pm and we were told that the decor team came early in the morning
and left around 12 pm. Whereas Mr. Aslam said at the time of booking that we can go and check in the afternoon to see if we need any changes in settings etc.

1. Now here comes the main part, The blunder done on the STAGE (center point of attention), The couch (white in color) for the couple was covered with a dirty orange cloth attached to the lower part of the couch with THUMBPINS! How in the world can any professional do that to someone after charging so much. That horrible orange cloth with thumbpins attached is visible so prominently ruining all of my photos.

2. The smallest sofas placed besides the main couch (dirty as well) although it was decided that benches would be placed over there. They were so small and destroyed the whole look awfully.

3. THE AISLE.it was so so narrow that only the bride could walk in the passage, the narrow space made it so difficult for my parents to walk beside me
while walking me towards the stage, again making it awkward in the video/photographs.

4. We asked not to put curtains at the entrance but an arch but them being so "Professional" did what they had to do.

Lastly, when my sister panicked upon arrival, she called Abdul since he was the responsible person for the decor as per Aslam.
To our surprise Mr. Abdul said he did what he was told and that he knows nothing about what we discussed with Aslam. Is this what you call a teamwork? You can't even discuss between your people what the customer wants. The same customer who spends their hard-earned money just so they can have a beautiful day to remember but vendors like these couldn't care less about it.

Neither did we hear back again from Aslam if we had any issues, speaks a lot about their professionalism.
It's been months now but better late than never, I wanted to leave a review earlier but couldn't, still looking at my photos.my heart aches as that orange dirty cloth God knows to hide the dirty or torn couch lurking widely in all of the photos makes me REGRET like anything.
And now after reading this, I hope Mr. Aslam won't show up with an argument and threats of false allegations just like he never showed up to enquire about the
issues faced.

Aslam has been nothing short of fantastic! He is extremely creative, sincere and provides the best customer service. My fiance and I appreciate his hard work and are so grateful to have him as our decorator for our wedding reception. We highly recommend him and assure you will have an extraordinary experience as well!

Aslam Jivani and his team worked meticulously to create beautiful canine decor for my niece’s wedding. They went above and beyond to meet all the requirements and added so many extra touches to enhance the decor. I would definitely recommend them for any occasion.

DecoArt failed to provide proper communication & a meaningful contract. We paid for a dance floor-a big expense from our budget. We sacrificed so many other things in the wedding to make this floor happen as we really wanted a unique & memorable look. We wanted to customize it further by adding our hashtag on it but could not afford the additional expense. We believed we had paid for the design, print, setup & removal. We had our mehndi, the floor looked great, & everything went well. Two weeks after my mehndi the floor was still there at my friend's mehndi. DecoArt failed to tell us that the floor we paid for could be given to other couples & the venue for free. Had we known this, we would've not proceeded with a floor. Unfortunately my friend's & my mehndi looked the same considering the floor is such a big part of the decor. We had many mutual guests who pointed out the floor being the same, & it just felt odd-& made me feel that my mehndi was not unique or memorable anymore. The venue now has received a free investment from us & can market/advertise their venue with this floor that we paid for. Multiple couples have also had their wedding events there on the same floor for free. We wanted a refund of the floor due to this, but DecoArt refused to compensate us in any way.

Our experience with them has been extremely disappointing. Throughout our meeting, he called me out for being outdated. For example, I mentioned I really liked lanterns & paisleys. He then made me feel extremely weird for liking things so "outdated". Although I always welcome professional advice, his choice of words & body language made me feel weird & I felt I could not truly speak on the vision I actually wanted. But what do you know.there were lanterns at my friend's mehndi two weeks later -& yes she had booked DecoArt as well. For my shaadi day I wanted a bold look & gold colors, along with accents of green & red & even provided some inspo pics of it. He mentioned ivory & champagne colors would be better. I pointed out that I did not want a pastel theme as we had already had our nikkah decor done that way, but he said I would pop better under those colors & at that point I felt I did not have enough comfort to speak on what I wanted. I almost felt pressured into agreeing what he thought would be better. I wasn't surprised when I walked into my wedding venue & did not like the pastel decor (I regret not being more insistent on wanting a bold baraat look although I shouldn't have to insist). I always welcome professional advice, but I think it's important to understand & hear what your customers may truly want. & at least work with them to give them the advice they think they would need while also listening to what they want.

Also, their contract gives you nothing to work with. If things don't go the way you want it to, there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. They have a few vague sentences on their contract that only benefits them. Highly suggest going to another decor artist!
