Danny Duncan (Deer Park Funeral Home has helped me and my family in our most difficult times.
As a Navy Corpsman, Vietnam Veteran, I am an expert in the affairs of the dying. But I am not immune to the emotions of losing a loved one. Danny is my “go to guy” for help. An honest and real guy.

Danny helped make my mother's Memorial service special and was kind and compassionate throughout. And even though he had some equipment failures the day before the service, he went out of his way to pull through so my mother received the service we had hoped for. Thank you Danny and everyone at Deer Park Funeral Directors who helped put my mother's service together.

Danny Duncan was a very rude and inconsiderate person. He wanted us to pay 1600 to have my wife's adopted grandfather cremated. Just a few years ago it was 1100 to have her mother cremated. So what has changed? Especially during such a crisis as a pandemic. He doesn't take no as an answer. And it seems that he perfer to handle inexperienced people in these processes as to be able to convince them that what he says is the best option. If you need help with taking care of a family member avoid this place at all costs. All they seem to care about is money. They over charge as much as possible and can be very persistent with trying to get you to sign off. They seem so busy taking care of "bussiness" that they've lost touch with how this effects people. So id avoid talking to someone who doesn't make the time to make a hard and painful process any bit easier.

Danny Duncan, the owner, made our experience with the funeral home and services a good experience. He was very helpful and honest during this difficult time for our family. Danny made a very hard situation really easy for myself and my family. He was very patient and help us with some major decisions. He has a great sense humor and had us laughing out loud at times. I hope I do not have to use his services anytime soon, but I would recommend DP Funeral Directors to anyone needing to make these preparations. Never easy, but he was great!

Danny, the owner and funeral director, has definitely found and followed his calling! He is amazing at what he does, and his personal touch helps you and your family walk through a very difficult, and otherwise painful process, with as much ease as possible. He goes out of his way to try and simplify the process of planning and burying.a loved one. He is respectful and conscious of one’s budget, and he has a vast knowledge of various options that can save money, which he freely offers. This, of course, means that he makes less money, but it doesn’t seem to be all about that, with him. He seems honest and genuine, and he doesn’t make you feel like he’s a salesman! We have buried four beloved family members with Danny, most recently my mother-in-law. She had a small life insurance policy which would not have covered the entire cost of her burial. After asking some questions, Danny realized that she qualified to be buried at the VA cemetery, since her husband was a veteran. This saved thousand’s of dollars, and we would not have known anything about that burial option, if he had not taken the time to share this information with us. Again, this is money that he would have made directly, if he hadn’t have informed us of this option! We are grateful for his kindness and compassion, and would highly recommend his services!
