DEKRA Emissions & Safety - Legacy Drive in Plano, Texas

It's a bare bone state inspection place. They do the job. If you are expecting any kind of comforts while you wait, this is not the place.

Employee was very nice. Took both of my vehicles there and was in and out in 15 minutes. Very quick service.

Great place- not sure where bad reviews come from. Currently waiting are closed - so bring chair. Today (Monday) at 3: 15 pm it took me less than 10 mins to get inspection done.

I came here today and the person working was so rude. I showed him my insurance and without even looking at it said it was expired even though it was not. Then proceeded to tell me rudely if “I can even read” and looking me up and down and shaking their head in disgust. I will never come here again and I suggest if you don’t want to be greeted rudely and have yourself ridiculed by a worker to avoid this place all together.

Excellent service. Sunday afternoon, no waiting. I was in and out in just a few minutes, and that was with the dynamometer emissions testing. Thanks guys.

Rude. Avoid these guys like the plague. Prime example of a business that knows you must use them because of government requirements. Zero incentive at customer service. One magazine in lobby. Did I mention they are rude?

Extremely rude guys were working the day I went by. Just unreasonably unhappy about everything, made it very clear that they knew nothing about vehicle repairs, in an elevated tone. Found out afterwards this place is basically the next step down from the state DMV agency. Would never go back here

Not a bad place to get your car inspected. They are a quick and efficient place. Could be a little nicer inside but the guys do a good job.

I stopped by twice and left twice without giving them any of my business. The guys working there are total jerks. They are under staffed with no one working the desk to greet customers so you end up just standing there wondering if anyone will come in to help you. If you have 15 or 20 minutes to waste sitting in their dirty, run down waiting area, someone will eventually come in only to talk rudely to you. BTW I stopped by in the middle of the month when they weren't so busy but that doesn't stop them from being jerks.

I always end up driving down the road to Kwik Kar where you are promptly greeted and treated professionally. I wouldn't give these jerks any business. I tried them twice but will not try them a third time.

Total scam. They tried their hardest to fail my car then told me I had to buy some overpriced items from their lobby. All they sell are light bulbs and windshield wipers, so be prepared.

Mediumly satisfied. Needed a little extra help showing bulb out but didn't get it. But O'Reillys.helped me out.

Fast efficient service. Got my van inspected quickly. No hassle about non-inspection items because all they do is inspections.

This is actually Logan's girlfriend lol he just signed in on my phone, but if you come early in the morning you literally only spend 15 minutes here and they get it done quick. Usually quiet staff, but nice.

I just used this location on Legacy and Custer. Would not recommend using this place for your state inspection, very rude and not friendly as other comments indicated, they drive your car like it’s a race car speeding around the corners and slamming on breaks which is not part of any safety tests folks. Slamming doors and basically throwing your keys at you on the counter when done. Use another company for your state inspection.

Got car inspected. Had a brake light out. Ran to get it fixed and stopped back by right at closing time. The service guy waved me off and said he wouldn't print out my certificate even after I explained I fixed the issue. Now I have to drive back another day to get inspection approval. One extra minute of his time could have saved 30 of mine. Thanks for nothing! Terrible customer service.

I'd give zero stars if I could. I showed up at 7: 45am because they open at 8am. Stayed until 8: 30am waiting for someone to show up and open shop. No one bothered to. What a waste of time. Not going back.

Quick and easy, they stayed open late for me, and didn't try to sell me on stuff I didn't need.

The staff here was very friendly. They got me in right away and my inspection was done very quickly.
