Disappointed in Mr. Delaney's effort. Although our case was a little unorthodox. Mr Delaney was very difficult to get a hold of towards the end and neglected to file for trial by jury.very disappointing

He takes your money and then tells you he cannot represent you anymore. He is a thief and should be investigated/disbarred.

My wife hired Mr. Delaney to assist in a child custody case regarding our nephew were as we spent almost five thousand dollars for his services for what he assured us was a "slam dunk" the day of court came and he was depending on the respondent not to show up and had NOT built a case even with being provided AMPLE evidence to do so. Upon telling Mr Delaney we could no longer afford his services that seemingly were for nothing anyways instead of filing to dismiss himself as counsel we learned he filed to dismiss the WHOLE case. I would NOT recommend. If you are looking for. A lawyer to FIGHT for you and your family members I highly suggest you look into a different lawyer. Not only is he unprepared and unprofessional he is very unresponsive.

Edit: edit to add I had given the lawyer 5 thousand dollars already and in no way was I expecting him to "work for free" I expected him to do his job. No one told you they didn't want to continue we told you we didn't want to continue with YOU as counsel. AGAIN steer clear of this man. Suffice to say he can't even take responsibility for not doing his job that he was PAID for.

We have always used Mr. Delaney for all our family law needs and will be using him again soon to present to the court the need to terminate parental rights on our grandson’s absent ‘father’ due to his
failure to provide support for the child (financially and/or emotionally). I know Mr. Delaney will get the job done!

He claims you can’t reach him yet tells you to contact him. He is too busy to give you the council you pay for. I bet he will respond to this review faster than a phone call.
