DeLeon Main Plaza reviews
13I brought my ex here and I thought it would be nice to just chill downtown and she broke up with me on the gazebo because I didn’t take her to chick fil a. IT WAS SUNDAY! So because of what happened ima give the plaza a 3/5
Been coming to event that where being held there threw out the years and now I bring my grand kids.
I love that Victoria at least uses the downtown square at this time of year to put a little excitement in the season with their Christmas lights and musical tree. We waited for the next 8 minute set so that we could watch the tree's lights dance to the festive music. Come take a picture in the gazebo under the lights and join in the celebration. It's fun for all ages.
The rest of the year it's a great place to take a break and listen to the breeze and birds or read a book. It also has a veterans memorial worth visiting in the square. Y'alll come and check it out.
Nice park to relax or just walk around. Beautiful to take pictures. Downtown has alot of business.
Beautiful area, fun place, scenery is beautiful as it overlooks the main plaza with the courthouse across the street. Holds many programs like the folkloric dancers, singers and during Christmas there are beautiful lights on the gazebo and oak trees.
Amazing place Memorial day concert was a huge plus local people are so friendly had a Blast. Thanks Victoria see ya soon
A perfect spot for prom or wedding pictures at the kiosk in the center of the square. A great place to sit a bit in the shade and unwind or enjoy a sack lunch. Very clean and wet maintained.
Had a chance to attend a gathering for the people of Ukraine. Very disappointed that it appeared only once in the paper. This event should have been publicize more.
There was a Vigil for the people in Ukraine and it's a shame it was only put in the Victoria Advocate once! They had an attendance of 70 people! This can happen anywhere in the world. Wake up people!
I hadn't been to the Gazebo in a few years and never was part of any kind of public or private event there until this past weekend. I was participating in a small event held there and it was rented out for us. Though it was a bit chilly- the atmosphere was so nice. I had a great sensation of communal hope, mixed with the old history that just welpt up inside of me. It really is a nice place. Even such, the sight of seeing the downtown people rummaging around, taking in the atmosphere was like a breath of fresh air to me.
This is a small simple place to visit. It is well cared for and a beautiful place to take pictures year round!
Went to see the Xmas lights. Everything was beautiful and it was a nice setup for taking holiday pictures. The only issue was that there were homeless ppl sleeping in the gazebo which made it very uncomfortable because they were right by the entrance so we skipped that part which is unfortunate because the kids really wanted to go inside since they've never been.
It was really a nice time.it's cool 2 c d smiles on kids faces.this year trunk or treat was another 4 d books ️️
