Delia's Specializing in Tamales, McAllen TX

Some of my favorite tamales! Every time I am in the area I pick some up to bring back home. They have frozen ones that are frozen left overs from the previous day.

I always visit Delia's for great tamales when I am in the RGV. I even got some frozen ones to take home.

Excellent help from employee Axel.asking for frozen tamales and I checked in other locations if there was what I was looking for to take away.

Delia's tamales are always delicious, I live in Dallas Texas and every time I come to mcallen I have to stop by and have some tamales And I take some back to Dallas.

Very small place no drive thru.they do have curb side but they won’t take your order by phone as per one their employees by the name of Maria.they wanted x me to get off my car even though I told them there were too many people waiting outside their door and some of them with no mask.the lady at Delia’s (Maria) said that I would still needed to get off and get myself exposed. Delia’s this is the reason people still getting infected with Covid cause your staff does not enforced mask appropriate use and a mask not covering nose is not effective it’s like you’re not wearing one. I do like your tamales but love myself and health more

Went on Sunday 6/14/2020 to the 23rd location. Bought some tamales and here we are Tuesday the 16 only to find out an employee has covid 19. Real Good and we are from Houston. Need to really be careful and be aware

Great homemade taste tamales, great service, clean facilities.just didn't like the coffee, they need to invest on a better quality brand.

The tamales are ok, they say beans and rajas amd you can't notice the rajas.the menudo is to die for tho.

The Best Tamales in South Texas! The only place to get tamales when visiting the valley. Soo delicious that people from out of town bring their own stash home with them to enjoy.

This place deserves every 5 star review it gets! Friendly, attentive service and the tamales are delicious! Many, many varieties to choose from.the spicy chicken n cheese are truly special!

I didn't dine in but I did get down and ordered my food they were fast and of course the tamales are amazingly good!

SO DELICIOUS! A note: they'll offer green or red sauce, the green is yummy but also very spicy (dunno about the red). The beef tamales were our favourite, pork a second favourite, chicken were okay.

Best tamales with the exception of my grandma's. The pork tamales are better at this location then all the others

Yum! Best Bean Tamales ever! Tried the chicken & pork ones also, but the Bean were my favorite!

Crowded because it is almost Xmas but worth the wait! They actually have it handled pretty well and do a ton of business this time of year. Can't beat Delia's Tamales!

Prompt service, place manager was training an employee and still provided great customer service. It's tamales, not healthy, but extremely tasty!

Tamales are very good they have a bunch of different kinds you can sit inside or you can take home my favorite is the chicken and cheese.
