Delightful Donut, San Antonio TX

Absolutely love Delightful Donut. The owners are so nice and always have a smile on their face. Staff is friendly. They have delicious donuts, their spicy kolaches, and they have some several birthday donuts for my husband and my son. They are a staple in our community. If you want some delicious treats, this is the place to go.

Honestly a Hidden gem, have not been disappointed by a single item we have ordered. Their filled donuts are incredible, they don't skimp on the filling which is awesome! The cinnamon twists are so light and flakey, they're my FAVORITE! The kolaches are delicious and the donut holes are so good as well. The staff are so kind and just really wonderful.

I wanted sour cream donuts and tried to convince me that the cake donuts were the exact same. I would have rather they had told me that they were out, or didn’t make them anymore but don’t insult my intelligence. I felt that lied to the customer so I won’t be going back. It’s a shame I used to be a regular.

This donut shop has used inflation to raise their prices 65% in the past 18 months. A basic donut was. 79 cents each and now are a $1.15 each. Eclairs were $1.29 and now are $1.99. This is greed at its finest. Inflation isn't that high. These people used inflation to basically double their income. You keep buying their product and keep getting ripped off. Un-American establishment.

Great product, and wonderful service. Our family looks forward to an early morning treat before school. And the donut holes have become a must have classroom treat for special events.

Ordered 5 jumbo sausage and cheese kolaches thru uber app. I receive 5 that include jalapeno which I didnt ask for. When I called, the lady here said that they would replace the 5 jumbo sausage and Cheese kolaches.

I come back to pick up the 5 jumbo and cheese kolaches and she tells me they cannot replace the kolaches and to reach out to Uber for the refund.

So you give your word to refund the kolaches and then you take it back. It sounds like this shop is not about taking accountability for their mistakes and making it right.

Great donuts and kolaches. My favorite is the glazed cinnamon twist and Jalapeño sausage croissant. Can’t go wrong with delightful donut. Veteran owned small business.

I don't come here often but when I do it's always amazing. The customer service is really nice and friendly. They open early and close early which is great if you work around that area. The donuts here are freaking amazingly good! The one I usually get is the 1doz donut holes. The donuts here are fluffy have nice flavor to them. It's not to much icing or to much dough and sits in a perfect balance in my opinion. I highly recommend going here!

This is the second time we've ordered from Delightful Donut, and their croissants are light, buttery and soft! I LOVE their breakfast sandwiches! And their spicy sausage kolashes are just as delicious. I highly recommend.

Donuts were delightful and staff was friendly. Donuts fresh and kolaches were flavorful. Honestly staff friendliness was the part that made this place wonderful for us.

My husband and I have driven by this place many times! We finally had a chance to try it today with our daughter. It did not disappoint.

We had a half dozen donuts, different variety, each one of them was amazing. I tried the bacon, egg and cheese croissant. Heads up! I don’t like croissants but it looked so good in the case so my husband ordered it anyway. Best breakfast sandwich ever! We’re so happy we found a donut place so close to home. Our family loves sweet treats for breakfast and this place hit the spot!

Always friendly service and good food. They always have the type of donuts I like and great bacon egg and cheese croissant.

I come in for a box of $9.99 donuts but they magically change to $10.99 plus the flat rate for using a card payment. I asked the person putting the box together that I wanted a $9.99 box, pointed out the donuts I could get for $9.99 and told me the twist and jelly filled are most, so I didn’t get any of those donuts. I’m not going back, keep an eye on their bait and switch pricing. I just got 6 glazed old fashion, 3 chocolate old fashions, and 3 blueberry donuts.

This place is absolutely amazing! Could not recommend this place enough. My fiancé, our son and my self come here every Sunday after church and they lady is always super patient with our seven year old when he takes a little bit of time to pick his donuts. On top of that the donuts are delicious as are the other food items. And today, when my fiancé said that their chocolate glazed old fashion are her favorite the last working snuck an extra one in the box for us! Again could not be more happy with this place.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love the kolaches from this small donut shop. There's never a line and the bread is always soft and warm.

Donuts and crossiants sandwich? Are super delicious! The donuts are fluffy, light, and melts in your mouth. The donuts and not over power by just sugar, the ingredients of delightful donuts are just perfect! Recommend picking up donuts and crossiants breakfast sandwich early in the morning, IT'S A MUST! Excellent customer service!

Felt like trying something different besides Dunkin Donuts or Shipley's. Found this place.

The maple bars were ridiculous good and the spicy sausage rolls were crazy delicious!
Plus the apple fritter was spot on!
I'm not sure if I'm happy to finally find a great donut shop nearby, or frustrated at how many more calories I'll likely consume because they are so close! New challenge, limit myself to no more than once a week.
Update: Tried the iced green tea latte this time and it is phenomenal!
I also I found out the owner is a Marine, which made me happy to support a brother.

This places has awesome donuts and breakfast sandwiches, and the people that run it are great and really make you fell welcome and a since of community when you stop in for breakfast.
