I have had my VW for a about 15 months, in the beginning service took way too long and I never felt valued or heard. The last 3 services have been 100% better. It has been easier to get in and service does not take over your whole day. I have greatly appreciated the change.
Recently went to look at car. The salespeople wasted my
time and tried to charge me for standard parts lug nuts, tint etc, etc, etc. Also mislead me on price.
Friendly staff, quick service.
Need a better wait area with more tables to be able to work while waiting
I absolutely enjoyed working with our salesman Andres he was so easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Absolutely recommend you get with Andres for your next purchase, you won’t be disappointed.
The service was quick and great, however the service waiting area doesn’t have much to offer other than coffee and water.
We were quoted an alternator replacement after the car battery died, at a local mechanic shop. When I called VW, they indicated that a battery replacement required a configuration change with the alternator. I took it to VW, they checked the alternator and reset the config with the battery to the alternator. They also checked the alternator and indicated there were no issues. Brett took care of us in record time (3hrs). Thank you!
DeMontrond VW did a great job on my 100K oil change, tire rotate/balance/alignment, and complete detail. My car is driving great after!
I am writing to vent out my frustration and disappointment with my VW Tiguan. The check engine light is on again. This was just fixed eleven days ago! They said the last time it was a loose hose. What could it be now? Are these warning lights pre programmed just so I could spend more quality time with your service department?
Having a car is a convenience in our modern world. Yet, it has been more of an inconvenience to me with this one. The amount of time I had spent coming back at the dealership to have it serviced is too much for a car that's just a little over 4 years old. From my experience here, it usually takes about 2 hours for it to be diagnosed alone, then a few more hours (if not days) for it to be worked on. Here's a list of what has transpired so far since I bought it brand new 4 years ago.
April 2019 - I bought the car brand new
At 15,000 miles - secondary air pump failed, was replaced.
At 3971 miles- There was a sweet smelling chemical scent/fume coming out from the AC vent that caused my eyes to burn and tear up. The explanation they gave me (as to the cause) was so vague that it was obvious they did not want me to understand what it was.
At 40395 miles - check engine light on. They wrote low voltage codes.
At 61483 miles- the AC system stopped working completely. There was corrosion at the connector and refrigerant was leaking. They changed the system.
At 67,000 miles - Today I'm back because the check engine light is on again after it was supposedly "fixed" just eleven days ago.
Now, do you understand where my frustration is coming from? When I could be at home right now resting my injured foot, picking up the kids from school, or having a day off from work - here I am vegetating in your familiar waiting area. If I were to add up the number of hours I've spent dealing with this car, I could have went on vacation already.
My dad used to own a VW in the 70's. I had fond memories of it growing up. This was the reason why I bought a VW myself. However, the many problems I've been having with this car caused my faith in this brand to deeply and fastly disappear. I'm not sure if there's a redeeming quality this car has in the future for me to keep it. Definitely, I'm not buying from the same brand again. I'm sorry for this unenthusiastic and negative review.

I felt like $470 to have a battery replaced was high but I don't have anything to compare it to. // My vehicle was returned to me in the same "clean" condition I gave it to them in. // The work appears to have been done correctly, it has only been a few days so only time will tell.

Dwaine was super polite, friendly, and helpful in getting my battery exchanged and was able to save me money bc it was still under warranty which I didn’t know. I appreciate his honesty and his helpfulness in this situation as I had my son with me and was frazzled trying to get everything done to make sure my car was safe for my son and I to drive in.

My vehicle has been in the shop for 1 month (waiting on parts?). Insurance coverage on the rental has now expired. Is there any loaner available for the duration? Any assistance available at your level would be tremendously appreciated!
