Demo's Greek Food reviews
14Very fresh greek food. The combo is really just a greek salad with meat. Chicken was very good, beef was chewy. Hummus and pita were very tasty. Def would go back.
Blanco /410 location
I wonder if some of the recipes have changed. Seems like items are not as garlicky/spiced as they used to be.
It’s been about 6 months since I last ate here. Maybe longer.
Today ordered my usual chicken wrap with a salad.
Food was serviceable but,
-Tzatziki didn’t have the punch of garlic I love.
-Chicken also was not as flavorful. Less overall spice and not as chargrilled as usual.
-Greek dressing was somehow different too.
I eat Greek food for all the yummy garlic and spice.
On the plus side
Portions were still good.
Service was prompt and courteous
Restaurant was clean
Maybe just an off day?
Delicious food, great atmosphere, and great service! Definitely looking forward to coming back here again!
Best there is, was, or ever will be. The best kabob around. Greek salad is fresh and perfectly dressed with REALLY GOOOD cheese. Staff is perfect and friendly to a fault. Opa! Bring everyone you can, this place is a winner.
We planned a party and it was last minute. We used Demo's Greek Food Restaurant for the catering. The food was amazing.
The chicken was cooked to perfection. And the fries are REAL handcut potatoes! I really also appreciated Sasha who took the order and especially ERIKA who called and repeated the order and got everything perfectly.down to the number of lemons.
Just love this place. All the Demos Restaurants are good but the one I used for this party was Demos at Blanco.
Highly recommend for authentic Greek Mid Eastern food!
Bless the hands of the cooks!:)
Normally go for lunch specials reasonably priced, fresh and good portion. Typically busy but are pretty efficient and don't take too long
Demo’s has been in San Antonio for 40+ years. I have been eating here with my family since I was in a high chair. I absolutely love their good. The meat is always seasoned so well and the hand cut potato fries are second to none. My only wish is that they made their own pita bread so that it was what they were known for. A girl can dream… Otherwise, keep up the decades of good work Demos.
Locally owned Greek dining eatery. They have been around for at least 40 years. You can't go wrong eating here.
A friend and I dropped in to get my standard, a Micro Gyro, on Saturday evening. Many people I know get the regular Gyro, and some order the double meat.
Service has always been good. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Demos is delicious, clean and very consistent. My go to Mediterranean kitchen.
I worked for a Lebanese family as a young man and fell in love with Mediterranean food. Demos is as close as I can get to the recipes I discovered working for the Sahadi family.
Everything is really good except for the fries they seem bland or plain I like my fries at least with a lil salt at least. But everything else is great
Got the micro gyro which was a lunch special. Overall rather good with fast service. Price was reasonable for the quantity of food and the drink.
Overall coming to Demo's Greek Food for the first time I am quite happy with the way they are doing it. If I'm entering the building I saw that on the back wall there was a menu with different types of choices. My wife and I chose a pita with hummus as our appetizer and sweet tea and lemonade as our drinks. I've never had hummus before but I'm not going to lie I think it was pretty good me and my wife both ate it and thought it was good but not entirely for us. For a main entrees we ordered two gyros deluxe which came with lettuce tomatoes feta cheese and black olives lamb meat beef. I also came with the side of fries which were fresh and made to the day that we came in. Everything was extremely hot and fresh people did not rush to get our food out but did not also take their time they did it in an orderly fashion and I definitely recommend this place if you haven't tried it. The decor inside is quite nice and goes with the Greek vibes.
I love coming to this place, my favorite is the beef mozzarella gyro it's the best thing ever
