Diner Denny's reviews
19Never again ate my whole plate before they brought me what they forgot to give me on my plate️
Inedible. This place gave me burned turkey covered in old grill scrapings, with whatever sides they had laying around. I even ordered backup food since I travel a lot and I know good to-go food is impossible these days. The back-up chicken sandwich was terrible. No fries, no sauce no veggies just dry chicken on bread for 10$ Its literally a 100 ft walk to go back since Im in the hotel next door and I won't even bother. Hostess was very nice though didn't catch her name. Save your money go to whataburger or something.
Great chain diner. Service was excellent. Coffee was a little on the weak side. Great value especially for AARP members.
Long wait times. Ran out of fruit (it was only 10 am). Had to ask for napkins. Food was pretty good otherwise.
Do not order take out breakfast in this place. They will only prepare your order when you arrive to pick up, get your order wrong and worst, you ask them to correct it and still wrong.
I have one go to entrée which is the Bourbon Chicken Skillet, but at the Ben White location they put a little twist on it. They cut the chicken breast into strips which in actuality they are giving you half the breast and fluffing it up
Great staff. Clean and remodeled since we were in last.
Apple pie w ice cream and coffee. ️
This place used to be good. Tonight (2am) The wait time is crazy on a Saturday night, which is definitely the busiest time for any business open late. The management needs to be retrained or changed. Its unacceptable for the amount of people who were waiting for over 3p mons to be seated.
Also, its incredible to see the manager leaving the restaurant while he sees so many people waiting. He should have stayed and helped his servers, really despicable
We came on a night where it was super busy. Torry the manager was super helpful in informing us of the long wait and very apologetic. He even said because of the 1-2 hour wait he'd help by serving us. To have a manager like that to do exactly what his employees do is impressive! Lead by example was definitely shown tonight. I can only imagine how tough it is trying to serve with little staff. He did an amazing job! Brian (Bryan), sorry I don't know how to spell his name was an amazing host. Food was warm and delicious. Definitely worth the wait if you're patient and kind to them. They're doing all they can to help assist everyone. Definitely recommend going back when these fellas are working. You won't regret it even with the long wait! Thank you guys!
Instead of just telling customers at the door were out of pretty much everything just wait 35min then wait another 35min when you're sitted down to be told we don't have any breakfast items and limited items might as well not be open️️
I placed an order online and showed up to pick up the order, of which I paid in full online. The front doors were locked and they would not answer the phone. I will apparently have to contact my bank and dispute the charge. This has got to be one of the most unprofessional things Ive seen from what is supposed to be a well sorted business. I would expect this from a mom and pop shop but not a nationally run chain.
Bad service food was burnt and cold forgot to bring me what came with my order also took forever to bring me my order bad experience!
We had the absolute worst customer service.
Post COVID, I understand that everyone is understaffed. We didn’t complain or gripe about the 45 min wait to get food. We didn’t worry that we didn’t get any drink refills. We even let go of the fact that we had to practically catch someone and beg her to let us pay. When she ring us up and I said they forgot 2 items and I would like them removed, she literally shrugged and said “it’s too late. He already swiped his card”. I asked for a refund after the fact and she said again “it’s too late”. I then asked what she COULD do to make it right. “It’s too late”.
Awful and horrible
My husband and I eat breakfast every Thursday and we love the staff. They need more staffing. The food is always done right and we love our waitress Lorana
I got the choconana pancakes and there was 4 chocolate chips in total, but the rest of it was ok.
Had a wonderful experience here! Delicious food, and Brain was so kind and treated us so wonderfully! Thank you Brain!
My breakfast was good. My friends chicken sandwich wasnt cooked and it was difficult to get it fixed. They did take his meal off the bill.
Food was good. Because of not enough employees service was terrible. But the employee that was waiting on us. (Us means me by myself and 2 other people at another table). She waited on 2 men and got their drinks before me. Then she seated two other people and before she could even wait on them she see the party of 10 and got their drinks and orders for food before she waited on the table for 2. And then she had the nerve to ask the table for two they can hold up just a few more minutes. Made me very angry; she needs some training.
Best time to go is early in the morning. I place my order by phone for pick up. Although they told me 20 minutes. That didn't happen until I got there to pay for it. I must say it was worth waiting on my food was very hot and tasted delicious.
