Deno's Of Highland Park reviews
16I've never in my life experienced a worse customer service and level of rudeness than the older tattooed woman with glasses provided. And this is my first bad review, because if I have nothing good to say, I don't. I respectfully and kindly stated my purse didn't look clean and that I don't see any before and after difference, to which she started screaming that they cleaned it! Not to mention that the purse's chain has rust on it, which was not there before! Very uncomfortable, to say the least and very poor service! I will not take my designer purses there for cleaning ever again!
Love the service and quality of repairs. Love Dorothy! My clients from Ft. Worth won't go anywhere else!
I am lucky to have found Deno's several years ago. They have done vintage shoe repair/refurbishment, refurb of briefcase and a couple of other jobs for me. You may be able to find less expensive repairs, but the quality of their work is worth their price. They are always my go-to for shoe and leather work.
The BEST customer service and bag repair! Dorothy was so kind and courteous. This will definitely be my go to repair shop for future needs. Thank you, DENO'S and Dorothy for such a wonderful experience!
I took my shoes to get a buckle fixed and they repaired it on the spot for no charge! Excellent service and great attitude. Highly recommend
Simply the best! Harry, Jimmy and their team are skilled at their trade. I miss Mr and Mrs Velos.
I read the reviews and was hesitant about going here because some of the reviews said the workers are rude. When I went there workers were friendly and male thar dud the work was pleasant as well. I dropped LV speedy off to have the zipper replaced and I came out perfect. Can't speak for others, but my service was great as well as the work
As a local of the area, I have been using Deno's HP for 25 years. Sadly, I will no longer use them. Not only have their prices become absolutely exorbitant ($140 to replace a partial sole) but their longtime staff have become surly and very rude. After watching their prices escalate over the last few years, I have finally had enough.
Beautiful craftsmanship. Repaired Gucci bag to like brand new condition that was rejected by Gucci repair as impossible. Thank you.
Dorothy is a miracle worker! SO helpful! SO knowledgeable! She is the BEST at getting answers about repairs!
Friendly workers but it's overpriced and mediocre. I just needed a wallet that needed very simple stitching and maybe even some glue. I've had it for a decade so obviously I'm not expecting it to look remotely new. $50 and a month wait. Sure. It looked near identical when I came back for it. I was confused that they chose not to do maybe 5 minutes of patch work and still charged me, but I'd rather have it back at that point so I paid and went on with my day. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you're looking for leather repair.
Decor is fabulous, cocktails are divine (try the strawberry and mint mock tail if you don’t want to drink). Parking is horrific. Salads and chicken burger is delicious, but whatever you do… do NOT order the French toast. It’s deep fried and just pouring with oil. It’s gross. You actually feel like you need a week at a health retreat after one bite.
Extremely expensive. Fixed a tip I didn’t ask for and refused to give a price break. I now go to the one on oak lawn fast and way less
I came right before they close at 6 and the two ladies were so kind and helpful to punch extra holes in my Gucci belt for free. Second visit now and I don’t have any complains.
Subpar cobbler. B-grade (at best) creams/waxes, minimal attention to detail, shoe shines that you could get at an airport kiosk. Exorbitant prices and nonexistent parking due to the location / real estate. Do your best to avoid
