Dennis Zobel, showed up for his 3 pm appointment today at 2: 15 pm.checked in answered all the questions. No problems. Told the guy at the desk, that he had a Covid test at the VA which was negative. The individual needed to see the test results, which we don't carry around with us. He stated that you'all couldn't see us today and we we would have to reschedule and bring the results. Why? You'all obviously don't need his care. Cancel him and he will let the VA handle things...

My visit honestly felt like a huge waste of time and money, I patiently waited for my turn to see the doctor and once I saw him I started letting him know my skin concerns and everything was super rushed, The doctor looked at my face and quickly prescribed me doxycycline and some acne ointment, which is odd because I barely have acne, and I know this because just a few days ago with an esthetician (from a different place), performed a Visia skin analysis that showed practically no acne causing bacteria on my face. What I do have is a lot of deep acne scarring, large pores, and hyperpigmentation from years of cystic acne that I was on accutane for. Now I only get an occasional blemish that turns dark then fades away. To his credit I did have a reddish small blemish today, but I get maybe one of those every 3 months and that is normal even after accutane according to my previous dermatologist (which i left because I moved) Well after prescribing me the doxycycline the doctor rushed out the door before I could even voice a concern, I thought he was coming back but the lady helping him told me he was already gone with his next patient. He then came back but my questions were not really answered. I had questions about laser resurfacing and his response was “I don’t know, im not a laser guy” and that I would have to be on what he prescribed for 3 months and then ask the other doctor that deals with lasers. Now I was not expecting any unrealistic magic remedy today but at least more analysis and consideration of my skins history to make a decision because I’ve actually been on what he prescribed me today pre-accutane. Im going to have to find a different dermatologist and i’m choosing not to pick up what I was prescribed.

Dr. Liz Atkinson Garza has been our dermatologist for 20+ years. She is AWESOME! She sees our entire family and feel blessed she is keeping our family healthy!

Please contact me. Dr Devillana is great but I can't get ahold of anyone for an appointment (no after hours voicemail). I've filled out the online contact form four times in the last 9 year. Ive never gotten a call or email back. I. Supposed to come in regularly. My last appointment was cancelled due to a personal tragedy, I totally get this, but it's been over a year and Everytime I think to try to get an appointment, I cannot reach anyone or get a returned call/email

I saw the Doctor for a a skin condition and the Doctor precsribed a medication that cost $7000 out of pocket. The Pharmacy called to ask for an alternative, and the Doctor DECLINED! This place was a complete waste of time. You should go to CVS Minute Clinic instead.

I would love to give five stars. Everything about my visit was great. I don’t like doctors offices so I asked if my wife could come, they said yes (doesn’t sound like much but it means a lot to me). I had to complete minimal paperwork on my initial visit. I had barely finished checking in before I was called back. The wait time after check in is a big critique from me and you guys nailed it. Well done. The building is in good shape. The staff at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. The nurse was thorough yet quick. My doctor was clear and concise. I was out the door with a treatment plan in a very acceptable time frame, and I didn’t feel rushed either. I intend on returning if the need arises. The reason for four stars though was the amount of time I had to wait to get an appointment (something in the neighborhood of like 8-10 weeks). But aside from that, this is the definition of a great doctors office.

Doctor didn’t solve the problem, but the following up has to be in two month. Staff answering call are always rude, never want to help you out. Won’t come back

I went to see Dr. Hivnor for a tattoo removal. He was scheduling me every 4 months and it seemed like he wasn't doing very much, telling me that the reason why was because it takes time for my skin to heal and because the laser is powerful. He was charging me $600 per treatment and found another dermatologist that's only charging me $300 telling me it only takes 4-6 weeks to heal. Also when I made my appointment, I scheduled for 3 o'clock, four months in advance. A week before my appointment, they changed the time to 2 o'clock, telling me that I had to go with that time and I didn't have a choice. So if you like wasting your money and being lied to by the staff and the dermatologist, this place is for you.

Horrible office staff. Screwed up my prescription after calling multiple times. Finally got my prescription correct over a week later. The staff never return phone calls when they tell you they will call you back. Called 3 times for biopsy results to then be told on the 4th call that they mailed my results to me and can't give them over the phone because all of the staff is busy in clinical.

This has been my dermatology clinic since I moved here eight years ago. I’ve had Dr. DeValena Since that time and she’s always been great. This has nothing to do with her or her professionalism it has to do with the complete lack of professionalism of the office staff and booking process. As a patient for eight years I was told I can’t get in until August. It’s June. When I was asked why I even needed to be seen I said I have a serious issue related to dermatology and I need to be seen. She told me they would look into it but nothing could be guaranteed within the next three weeks. These are all facts not hyperbole. The girl on the phone showed complete lack of empathy, professionalism or care in my situation. I was going to say that I’m going to look for a new dermatologist but I’m pretty certain she just would’ve said OK and hung up. I do not want to find a new dermatologist as I like my doctor here but making patients wait 90 days for appointments while simultaneously questioning their need to actually be seen is unacceptable.

My first time to a Dermatologist. Was recommended by my personal doctor. Dr. Chad Hivnor is very professional and polite. Went straight to my marking on my face without me saying a word, he asked me a few questions about it. I answered. He was concerned that it may be something more than I thought. He cares, actually cares about another humans well being. And that is not even why I went.
We covered the reason I came in and he suggested some new regiment for my skin. Wrote down what to buy instead of shoving something into my face to buy as I have had happened in the past.
Dr. Hivnor is a true caring professional. I will pass the information on to others that I know.
And after reading some of the comments just now, I must say that I don't think any of those people that were rude are still there in the office. Everyone was very polite. I accidentally came in on the wrong day as well and the lady at the front said to fill out the paperwork since I was already there to save time for my correct appointment. My bad.
Everyone one is polite there. Clean waiting room as well.

I have never been to a dermatologist before, but for a first timer it was a great experience. Dr. Hivnor had excellent bedside manors, professionalism, and knowledge. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with him. It was a great experience. Thank you for the help Doc!

Literally the nastiness of the lady answering the phone is astounding. After asking her a question about why my sons appointment has been canceled twice since we booked it back in March, all I heard was weird silence. Then she said something about not enough medical assistants in the office, then she continued out talking me for a bit and I finally had to ask three times to speak with the office manager. She put me through to her "supervisor", who acted like I was bugging her and I again had to restate my request to speak with the office manager. Again, as I had them on speaker phone in my office where my workers could hear, the 'office manager', Griselda, told me some very personal information about my sons doc, that I didn't need to know about. She also made excuses for the complete lack of professionalism of her staff. All I wanted to do was have my son seen by another doctor if his dermatologist is unavailable. As a customer I don't really need to know anything else other than: my son needs something removed and my insurance pays them for this service and I pay the co-pay. Nothing more than that, the doctors in this clinic are wonderful people, the front office female staff are not nice and are quite rude. Very disappointed
