No water or wifi on site. Very poor cell service. No cellular data connection. Dead mice under the bed in the trailer. Used Glue trap (with rotting mouse, flies and maggots included) and rat trap under the bed on either side. Holes in the wall running the length of the trailer under kitchen table to see the ground outside. Damaged walls and ceiling inside the trailer. The front door and two windows broken. Missing bathroom door. Walls torn out in the trailer with free painted on the access door as though the trailer has been abandoned and salvaged by the current owner before being dragged to the desert. Views are the best thing about staying in Lobo. This is strictly for boondocking and camping. Do not come without a 4x4 or dirt bike. If it rains you will be stuck out there over twenty miles from Van Horn Town and supplies. It would be better to sleep in your car on the side of the road or at a gas station than to stay out here.

A horrible experience.
First of all, the location indicated in Booking is not correct and once we arrived we found a real DUMP.
The Mobile Home we had rented was an unsanitary place. Totally dirty, with mouse droppings, used matches, food remains, dirty kitchen utensils on the table, the bed full of dust and old and torn blankets, unpleasant smell.
Also the windows and the door were broken and there was no lock.
There was also no Wifi as stated in the description of the available services.
The bathroom and the shower outside in a sorry condition in the open air.
I also want to state that most of the reviews that appear are false because there is nothing wonderful about this place.
We had to leave there being a deep night without any kind of apology.
I hope that accommodations like that are not allowed to be rented.
Disappointing.

There is an amazing view from the top of the mountains. They are off the road and at the bottom of Van Horn Mountains. Lots of camp sites to choose from. Bring your tent, or RV. New sites have been put in that over look the canyon. Constant improvements being done all around. Nice hiking up to the caves. Night sky is also amazing. On a clear night you can see the milky way. They have restrooms and shower available but keep in mind they are off grid. Very pleasant host who will answer any questions you have and help find a site you will love. Phone service is hit and miss depending on where you are and what service you have. They even have mini golf course. They have horse shoes going and even more to come. They even have a camper you can rent if you don't wanna tent camp.
