Very average food.
Took dal tadka, spinach dal and garlic naans for take out.
Food was average taste.

Food was good. Ordered south Indian dishes, everything was good. Chappathi, Naan and gravy was good as well. Cleanliness is one thing to worry about, otherwise food was decent enough.

Absolutely amazing Indian food at reasonable prices. My husband and I love this place so much!

First of all the food in Desi Kitchen was super good but the serving was lousy. Also a careless employee and spilt some food by accident. Over all its a great restaurant but not so well for big families. Rated 3.5

My first Indian food experience and I can not wait to go back. Our dishes were sooooo good. I literally did not expect to like my food this much but it definitely caught me by surprise

Desi Kitchen has really delicious food. We could feel the freshness of the vegetables in the paneer kebab we ordered. But apart from the yummy food, everything else was horrible. The delivery was slow. There was an onion peel in our food. Our table wasn’t clean. There was peeling on the walls. The waiters messed up our order and we had to wait more ON TOP of the extra long wait. We ordered 2 coffees, one was hot and one was cold. Your choice - good food or good ambiance and service.

Just as the previous reviews have said, the food is great. Very flavorful and very well seasoned and spiced. HOWEVER, service is horrible and I kid you not, when I was eating, a roach crawled on the wall next to my booth I stopped eating after that. Now let’s talk about the service. The table was dirty when we sat down, but the older gentleman did come by with Windex to clean it once he saw I was wiping it down with a napkin. Then he proceeds to take our order in his notebook (that detail is important). He wrote down our order. In total, we ordered about 9 items. When our food came out, one person was missing their food, we end up sharing our dishes thinking that it would come out later. It never came. We ordered 4 mango drinks in which they forgot to bring out until we had to ask again and it didn’t come out until the near end of our meal. So you wrote down our order but only 4 out of the 9 items were able to come out correctly? That’s just horrible. The older gentleman is nice but the girl waiter has an attitude. Like she questioned us whether we really ordered something. Rude. Also, I think they add on tip even before you choose to tip on your own so check your receipt to make sure your items are correct and don’t double tip unless you want to. Overall, will not return, do not recommend. The one star is just for the food tasting good but the roach made the whole meal unappetizing.

I recently purchased the lamb biryani brought it to work for lunch to share it with my colleagues. And although it was tasty, there was not ENOUGH MEAT on it (NEED MORE MEAT)

The food was awesome. The price is very affordable compared Dallas and the quantity is also good. Daya was friendly and did well.

A pathetic short guy near cashier. Please check your receipt because they add tips for themselves and won't provide split Bill. That guy is so irritating and uneducated he thinks he is some film actor. So weird.

Hidden gem. I asked my gas station buddy where he goes to get the good stuff, and he pointed me to this place. The chicken vindaloo is my favorite. I've had it before at other restaurants, but they make it the best. Pair it with some garlic naan. So good! Try it!

First time ever and will not be my last, food was super fresh and spiced perfect, portion size enough to share or have tomorrow. The rice was the fluffiest perfection. I ordered the chicken with Josh sauce and Chana masala.

Quite disappointed. We ordered 3xPanneer biryani, 2x veg dum biryani, and 2 Gobi manchurian for pickup on Oct 26th and ended up getting 2 chicken biryanis instead of veg biryani. Given we're vegetarians we found it to our utter dismay only after opening the containers. When I called up the experience, they assured me that I'd be getting a call from the owner of the restaurant, but haven't received anything yet. Such a dreadful experience

First time ordering from here and the food was amazing! I put in the order notes that my boyfriend has a pretty severe peanut allergy, and they sent our food with a handwritten note informing us of the nuts they did use (almonds and cashews) to make sure that he could still safely eat it. Very sweet! Can’t wait to order again:)

Came the first time the service was great the Gobi Manchurian was seven dollars made a video came back not more than a month later the only thing that changed pricing on the menu is the Gobi Manchurian which was written in to $10 still not bad but the service was horrible. I waited about 15 minutes for someone to even give me a menu no one came.

The table behind me got served after they sat down the guy didn’t even acknowledge that I’ve been sitting there as he was the only server so he knows I have it then sir. Didn’t get my water anything the table that came in behind me receive theirs.

Last week we went their first time and food was excellent, rava dhosa, sambhar and bhel. So we were so excited and went there yesterday for dhosa night, half price dhosa and we were so disappointed. Dhosa was cold, sambhar was very watery and tasteless and cold that we couldn't touch it. Bhel was terrible. If they try to cut the cost like that for half price dhosa and not consistent with their food quality than business will go dawn.
