DFW Reptarium, Plano TX

My friend and I had a great time. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Willing to answer all of our questions, and if they didnt know the answer, they tracked down someone who did. THAT IS PRICELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE! Besides going in to pick up items needed for our own terrariums, it was fun, looking at all the different types of critters they had in there. It is a bit more pricy than online, or at one of the reptile shows, but willing to pay the cost just based on the availability of the staff. Keep your staff. I will pay the extra cost on items.

Amazing people - very knowledgeable. They take great care of their creatures, and always have everything I need. I'll always come here for my gecko and snake needs.

My favorite store! They have the best selection of food for my ball python. I drive 45 min to get there, and I have yet to regret it. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and eager to listen and help!

This place is the ultimate reptile heaven in DFW! They always have a wide selection of habitats and habitat accessories, the atmosphere is like the inside of a reptile keepers dreams, and the animals always look healthy and happy! I highly recommend any reptile lovers to visit and shop here.

You guys were my favorite place to go to but you lost the best staff, your current staff is not very knowledgeable, you are pretty overpriced. Very disappointing.

The DFW Reptarium always provides excellent customer service, they all have extensive knowledge and answered all of my questions happily. I highly recommend DFW Reptarium for all of your reptile needs!

Really like this place. Trey took the time to examine a rescued python I brought in and then discussed a proper setup with me. He was helpful and honest, prioritizing the needs of the snake even though it meant that they didn’t have an enclosure of the size that I needed. I’m having a custom cage built instead but I will go back to the Reptarium for all of the supplies and the staff expertise.

Great place to pick up feeder bugs or your next great pet! The shop is incredible! I love going into to look at all the reptiles. They not only sell pets, but they are responsible store owners and make sure that your reptile has the proper setup. They are very knowledgeable. Also have a Jr Herpers club!

Absolutely the best reptile store in the Dallas area. They have everything from reptiles to live feeders. My snakes only eat live so this is the place to be. The price is a little high but you get what you pay for! High quality.

The only place I'll go to get things for my bearded dragon! They're so awesome and helpful. I'm so thankful they're here because they are the only store that sells Dubia roaches! Otherwise I'd have to order them online and pray they come from a good breeder!

This place is amazing, if you are any type of herpetologist, go! Now! The staff has always been friendly, helpful and easy going. Give great advice and know their stuff.
Kids will love being able to touch some of the reptiles. They expanded recently and the place is much bigger! They needed it as cool as it is to hang out and see the reptiles!

Awesome place to find all kinds of feeder bugs and mice to rats. They have just about anything you would ever want and if they don't have it they can find it for you I'm sure.

But thank you for the wonderful service while we were there and we will definitely be returning for all of our future purchases.

This place is cool. I come every week for feeders for my snake and everyone is nice and knowledgeable. I just like to look around at all the different reptiles when I visit. Would have been 5 stars if most of the habitats had animals in them. They have a lot of homes but they seem to be empty a lot but they still have a good amount of reptiles also.

Sorry but this place has gone down hill and not what it used to be.the staff is not helpful at all.they never have rodents in stock and the prices are so high.go to the serpentarium its a new reptile shop in richardson.you'll thank me later.

These dudes working here know their stuff. Super knowledgeable and so kind and helpful. This place has so many amazing reptiles, and it's even great that they have a lot that are not for sale, and are 'store pets' because of neglect by previous pet owners. Just a great place.

Best and only place in town to get quality feeders and critters to enjoy and take care of. The staff really love what they do, and they are a great source of information as they share thier knowledge of any reptile available! Got a panther chameleon over a year ago and he is an absolute blessing to watch and take care of. Lizards and reptiles in general make great pets! Its always worth it to drive across town knowing the place will have what i need. And when calling ahead of time, they actually answer!

I love this place. It's a great place to learn about reptiles not to mention the do's and don'ts of reptiles. For someone who loves reptiles and has owned quite a few I very much enjoy getting advice from these guys.

My son wants a snake for his 10th birthday. Thanks to Nathan, he just might get it. He was really patient and answered all my thousands of questions. He was really hands on with my son in teaching him how to hold the snake and the do's and don'ts of handling them. If we choose to get a reptile, it'll be his first pet and the first time in my life ever having one as a pet. It's either the Ball Python or the Bearded Dragon. I have a lot more research to do before he turns 10 in November, but feel confident that we'll both be ready when that time comes. Thanks to the staff at the Reptarium and hats off to Nathan for the knowledge and customer service they gave!

Cool pet store, but half of the animals weren't for sale. Lots of tanks weren't labeled, and getting an employee's attention was a pain. I was completely ignored while interested in purchasing a Leopard Gecko. I stood there for 30 minutes waiting for an employee to get done with a previous customer, and he just walked away afterwards. Nobody was circulating the floor so I just walked out.

This place is nice and their is at least one person who knows about all the different animals they sell. However they are WAY to over priced with a decent amount of products. I brought in my 2 leopard geckos and got a rough scale sand boa.
