Dhamma Siri Vipassana Meditation Center, Kaufman TX

I have been to several Vipassana Center amd this one was the best center so far. Best in terms of facilities, ambience, space, infrastructure and instructor. I beleieve different offerings could have different instructor though. Nevertheless, it is about hour/hour-an-half from the airport if you are flying in. I would highly recommend this location for silent meditation retreat. No words can justify the experience here, you must experience it yourself.

Very nice branch of volunteer run meditation organization. Unbelievably, no charge to attend. Program was intense at times, but it was good work and it really cleared my mind and body.

Awesome place to find yourself and start a new path in life. This experience really changed you in the best way. Totally free of all amenities, vegetarian food, just supported by any donation at the end of the course if you feel it provides you a value. This silent meditation course following the selfless dedication and effort by Goenka helped shape me to become a better person. This center has opened for a few decades and is very organized, thanks to Binh and Hien, they have dedicated their life for this center which is so admirable. God and Buddha bless their hearts. Anup, long term server also so wonderful. His smile is so infectious and his calm demeanor helped servers prepare meals with Metta. I felt as if the Dhamma Siri is a second home to me and I am looking forward to going back to sit or serve yearly.
