Dick Nichols District Park reviews
15Great playground, pavilion with tables, picnic tables on grounds, have bathrooms and ample parking and trashcans. Great walking trail, too.
Mile long sidewalk trail, covered playground, shaded picnic tables, tennis court, sand volleyball, an all around multi-purpose park in the middle of a lovely neighborhood.
My dog and I love this park and frequent it regularly. It’s always a good time and maintained well.
Great park for younger kids. Swings, large play structure with multiple slides. Restroom and shaded picnic area, and walking trails.
Wonderful park with a nice public pool, playground, basketball court, tennis courts, walking trail and soccer/football field.
Small park which gives you the feeling of wilderness in the middle of a city! Couldn’t believe how pleasant it was.
It has a mile of paved walking trails and even more trails connecting to a small green belt. Tennis court, basket ball court and much more!
Great paved and shaded walking trail. New picked ball courts and nice covered playground. You can also enjoy sand lot volleyball.
Used to be much better, love using the volleyball pit, used to have these cool Zipline things that they no longer have. Still good. I like the little trail that goes around it, mom used to make us do one lap of the trail before we could play on the playground while she did a second lap.
Enclosed park area with a latched gate = a win in this mamas eyes! Spacious, lots to do for my kids. Sandbox is a huge plus. Bathrooms are also a HUGE plus!
It's been a few years since we made it here, there's been some changes, but the best is there is a gate around it! There's tons of play areas, seating, sand volleyball, and gorgeous trees. Amazing spot.
This is a great park in far South West Austin. There is a mile track that weaves around the park, lots of playground equipment for kids of all ages. Basketball courts, sand volleyball courts and tennis courts too. There were lots of birthday parties happening but it didn’t feel over crowded. You can reserve the large pavilion for parties as well. There is also a free community pool.
Has a nice trail to walk, always lots of pups, and a soccer field and cricket field too. There's a kid playground and it's always busy, but def worth checking out.
Great variety of facilities. Kind of feel bad rating it 5 stars, because i'd rather it not get too crowded. Love the paths around it.
Great public park. I recently moved to South austin and everything else in the area seems to be HOA owned. Great trail for walking your dog on a beautiful day.
Good playground and other spaces. Covered pavilion and picnic tables throughout. Sand volleyball also
