Dickey's Barbecue Pit, Waxahachie TX

People get so snooty about barbecue around here that Dickey's gets a bad rap. But it's consistently good BBQ and the staff at the Waxahachie location was so kind, patient and efficient.

Girl at window was very rude I was trying to explain something to her she gave me a terrible look and slammed the drive thru window.they lost my business and my friends and families. Very disrespectful

Picked up our weekly carry out of the picnic pack. Usually it is very good, looks good and tasty. Tonight, the only issue was with the family side of fried okra. It was WAY overcooked. Some pieces were not edible. In addition, the Styrofoam container had melted holes because it was so hot. I do like the food to be hot or warm, but when it's melting something that shouldn't be eaten, I think that's a problem.

It’s pretty good. I can’t say the best but this price and taste is pretty good. I like mostly hot links, turkey and green beans.

Seemed overpriced for the plates, and veggies servings were very small. The sandwiches are a better deal.

Went for lunch take out. The brisket was nice and moist and my husband loved the potato salad. That is a big deal because he is picky about his potato salad.

BBQ everywhere is outrageously priced. Dickey to me is very reasonable though the sides are pricey for what you get. Enjoy the specials on the app. The sandwiches are really good.

We ordered a meat potato and they did not give us the meat. The sides are tiny for the price. Would not order from here again.

They need to work on the roof, it has leaked for years. There's always a bucket somewhere inside to catch the rain coming in. Plus, miss the unlimited rolls!

I had to go in person because you guys no longer have salads on the delivery menu. But I'm not upset since I learned you added smoked wings. Good job! Lol

Water was dripping from the AC unit above the check out counter. It dripped into my food as I was waiting to pay. I told the guy at the register. He didn't seem very concerned. I was not too happy about it. Beware of the drip!

The food was good, the restaurant was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I kinda had my hopes up for a hot roll but they didn't have rolls. Overall, a good experience.

Chain store foods same same. Nothing to write home about. It will do a bit pricey for the menu.

Staff was very friendly as always. We try to go here every time we are in the area, there are no dickeys where we are from.

I love to people love the food but I swear every time I go up there the dont put all the bbq I ordered or like this last time I asked for extra toppings paid for extra toppings and got pickles and I never said anything about pickles. I honestly might not come back up here or if I do I'm going to have to check my order Infront of them inside the store. Im just tired of paying for things that I don't get when I order from this Dickey's bbq pit

Dickeys a Texas staple. Everyone should try them atleast once. At this location everyo.e was GREAT and the food was delicious.

Don’t ever expect to get a baked potato in this place EVER. Other food is decent but when you are craving a BBQ baked potato just stop and lose the craving lol
