Beware of Over Charging, if you are not aware of what it takes for repairs. Their estimate had $2750 in additional labor that doubled my estimate cost. I questioned the approach. I then decided to validate the cost with their direct competitors, and Ford Dealer ship. The approach they were taking was not standard book and or Ford approach for this repair. Ultimately, by investigating and confirming, I only lost $150 vs $3000 and eliminated Diesel Tech from any future business from me. Repair at a reputable competitor, permanently and correctly fixed my issue for about 45% of their qoute.

Awesome company! I purchased a used RV and I sent it to them to conduct preventative maintenance and to install Anti Sway Bars on my rig. Patrick and Michelle were great. They have done everything I’ve asked in a timely manner.

Not real impressed and feel ripped off.

Made an appt as I was told they were backed up, waited a week to drop the drop the truck off for a list of services on a new to me semi truck wanting to get it road ready.
Asked for estimates on day one - never got any.
Truck sits for almost two weeks to get an oil change / PM and some torque arms. Never got around to the list of other problems as time just seemed to not matter so I pulled it away.

During this time I asked for estimates two more times as well - never got one.

Got a bill for $1700 for an oil change / PM, 2 air filters and torque arms when I went to pull it out to take it elsewhere.

Out of 40 grease points only about 10 had been hit with photo evidence of all the grease points that clearly were not hit. Sent pics and asked about this and got no response.
Torque arms were ordered and installed, at a cost of over $900 for two arms that are normally $300 for the set of two with plenty available online ready to be shipped, but they took it upon themselves to pay double+ for them without asking as they were the “ only ones around “ as I was told.

The truck sat and was obviously going to sit longer as there was no apparent rush to do anything on it, so why waste money on arms that were not a rush part as well?
Making a payment on a semi, plus the ungodly amount that insurance runs nowadays, which they know as they are running a trucking business as well now, I would think they’d try a bit harder to actually do something on a customers truck that is costing 3k a month to own.
I’m sad it went the way it did as I was hoping to establish a relationship for repairs and maintenance but felt completely taken advantage of. I asked for a refund of the $450 I feel I was overcharged for the arms but never got a response past the initial “ they were the only ones available “ even though I never authorized paying that obscene amount for them.
Im glad I pulled the truck as I can’t imagine what the bill would have been with the list I left and the overcharge on just the small amount that was done.

Things left included checking over motor and timing advance /Airbag height adjustment / AC work / fix tach and pyrometer / brakes / windshield washer pump / brake lights inop / headlight short / and a few other odds and ends. At the rate the work was being completed I think there was more than enough time to wait on averages priced arms and shudder to think of what the bill had been on all the other work if I was gouged that good right from the get go.

My DEF sensor failed right before a long road trip but Diesel Tech got me on and fixed in no time! They saved our trip and were super nice and knowledgeable. I won’t hesitate to go back.

I have 3 Ford 7.3 Diesels. '97, '02 and '03. '97 @ 430k and '02 @ 480k miles, creeping up on 500k miles quick.they do great job of keeping them running good and are very friendly and easy to talk with and ask about various truck issues.they will take time to explain the problems and solutions. I highly recommend their services, especially if you drive diesel trucks.

Took my van in to these guys to get an overall check up on previous mechanics repairs. They charged me a diagnostic of the problem, which I had already told them what was going on and they simply repeated that back to me when I picked the vehicle up.
Well later I decided to make repairs myself to find out they didn't look anything over and completely missed that the water pump pullie was badly bent. I felt ripped off by the lack of attention and lack of diagnosis on there part. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here.

I had head gaskets and head studs done on my Duramax last month. They took great care of the truck, got to it a week before scheduled, and kept me updated throughout the whole process!

We had a truck lose power the day before the winter storm came in. In a panic I called around half a dozen truck repair shops. Explained what I was experiencing and finally found Diesel Tech through two separate referrals from an international dealership and another truck shop. On my initial phone call they were helpful and assured us an evaluation would be completed promptly. Even through the winter storm their team was communicative and on point with parts needed. Diesel Tech beat their estimated completion date, the truck issues were resolved at a fraction of the feared repair costs. Thankful for their great technicians and a truly great local business.
