Dillard's, Houston TX

I never got my sales rep's name but she was so helpful, did my return immediately then helped me with several Polo items. Excellent service! HOWEVER, THE KIEHL'S COUNTER GETS ZERO STARS! ABSOLUTELY PUSHY ASIAN WOMAN! SHE WANTED TO CHECK ME OUT WHILE I WAS STILL SHOPPING SO I JUST PUT OVER $100 WORTH OF PRODUCT BACK ON SHELVES AND WENT TO MACY'S INSTEAD! SPENT $273.and only because they didn't have everything I needed!

They have alot of brands but i couldnt find anything to wear in the womens section besides formal and business casual atire.

Best women's shoes selection.
Best women's clothing to include, cocktail and special occasion dresses, women's wear, everyday casual for women, and sleepwear and lingerie as well
Also, Dillard's keeps their departments clean and the my merchandising is very well done with clean racks that are not too heavily loaded, and you find there is easy access through each area. Finally, Dillard's cosmetics department has a great selection of both the popular cosmetic lines as well as a great selection of the new unique and more trendy cosmetic lines. Even their bays are set up better allowing customers easy access to the tester units as well as live retail product, so no need to have to wait for a salesperson to get your favorite shades of shadows and lipsticks!

The manager Sarah that looks like Ellen and the senior citizen manager Cynthia followed told us we weren’t welcomed as a minority group

Suit department staff is superb. Great to let us the customer choose products. Great to suggest the best price, including sale versus non sale products. A must go to visit for mens suits!

Wow! What a great shopping experience I had at Dillard's at Memorial City Mall during my short trip to Houston. Lindy in the luggage department was so helpful and informative and so sweet! And Marnita in the lingerie department really helped me by pulling items in my size in the style and colours I was looking for, which really was important due to my time constraints. Will definitely shop here again upon my next visit to Houston!

Racist against Hispanics, my son got followed from the backpack department to where I was shopping. He wanted to get my approval, then rushed to purchase. As if we were thieves. I will take my business elsewhere after this incident. No thanks Dillard’s, I will be shopping at Macy’s instead. Very unhappy customer.

Nice store. I went to the top floor to home goods. I purchased crystal wine glasses and the lady at the checkout asked if I wanted them wrapped up to prevent breaking.that should be standard procedure!

Very poor customer service in the kids department today. Went up to a young lady behind the counter in boys said excuse me and she ignored my brother and I. She was on the phone and did not bother to respond with a simple I'll be with you in just a moment ma'am. I will never return bc of that. My regret is not getting her name or a manager. If I go back it will be only to report her.

Good service from the yound lady helping my gf. Took her time acknowledging us, and knew her department. Much better experience than our last visit.

Great selection of Men's clothes. Aittle pricey, but there were no spring sales, just winter clearance. Great buys on long sleeve shirts though.

Needed a specific Maxazria dress in a 0 for a special event and the lady at the counter went out of her way to locate the dress at a BCBG store in another department store. So grateful for her help with finding that dress!

I love the merchandise, but until they bring their register terminals into the 21st century, I'm done with this store. I have never had my Samsung pay fail with any other retailer, but it consistently fails at Dillards.

I've been going to Dillard's forever, nothing bad to say about them. Lancome lady's are always nice.

Its a good place. We went for two piece suit for teen ager boy. They did not have slim fit, but the collection is good.

A shadow of its omd self a complete rethinking is needed if it is to survive ket alone compete successfully against online trade.

Great variety in evening or formal attire for all ages. Plenty of front n nearby parking. Staff was very helpful in all departments. James Avery inside is a plus. Loved the clearance selection in boots, tennis shoes, flats. For clothing, nice selection as well in clearance such as Calvin Klein, Vince Camuto, Antonio Melani n more. I especially loved the convenience of being connected to Memorial City Mall to do further shopping. The furniture selection looked a little slim but nice quality in material. Happy shopping!

This is a great place, to spend money, nice people, they are always trying to help as much as they can, overall i love it.but get ready to go with a lot of money.

Visited this store January 1st 2019 and the escalators were turned off, so decided to use the elevator. The elevator got stuck midway between floors and we attempted to call the store twice and was hung up on. There was no ventilation onboard, the elevator power went off and on twice, and extremely claustrophobic. After attempting to use the alarm on the elevator, and being hung up on twice from Dillard associates, we called 911. They dispatched the fire department, they had to pry the doors open and extend a ladder down to us to climb out. The fire department mentioned to us that this was the "second time they have responded to the establishment within 30 minutes due to elevator malfunctions. There were 12 individuals including myself stuck in here for over thirty minutes, we asked to speak to a manager and the manager refused to even apologize. We received no form of gratitude, sincerity, or grief. The managers just listened and never responded with words. I do not understand why if this was the second time within an hour of happening why did they not shut the elevator down or rope it off? I will not be returning.

Only 4 stars because the attendant in the men's dept.was not as nice as in other stores I'd been to these holiday season in fact, I almost walked out w/out making the purchase.
