Discount Tire, San Antonio TX

This was the best experience I've had at a discount tire! Juan G was professional, informative, and went beyond expectations to
make sure I was back on the road quickly!

I went in for “free” tire plug for a screw in my tire and after when I looked at my tire I had 2 holes in the thicker part of the tread of my tires, just deep enough to drive a little ways before my tire went flat. Obviously it’s a ploy to drive sales so I went to pep boys and bought 4 new Goodyears for only a little over $400 with an online discount. Including the installation. I guess you get what you pay for. That is completely unethical and I probably could have sued if something happened to me. Will not return here again. And I highly recommend you do not either.

They emailed me that it was time for tire inspection and rotation. Took my vehicle in and was fine 15 mins before time they quoted me. All gentleman there are very efficient and professional and courteous. An very happy with their business. Highly recommend them

I was on my way back to my home town when I realized that my car had a low tire. I went to this location and had the best experience. I always knew what place I was in line from the initial tire check through work completion. They actually finished my car 20 minutes faster than the time they quoted me. They were polite gentleman, and they explained to me what was wrong with the tire, what they did to fix it, and answered my questions when I didn’t understand.

The staff always takes care of my car quickly and professionally. I get my car back within the quoted time. Clean waiting area with free cold water.

Quick and dependable service. What I like is that they store their transactions in their computers. You don't need to be concerned about saving your receipt. They check your tire pressure for free.
If anything goes wrong, you can find a discount tire store just about everywhere. I'm surprised they don't have them by McDonald's.

I've visited this location a handful of times in the last few years. They're, hands down, the best Discount Tire I've ever visited. Their service is always top notch. Their pricing is always fair. Most of all, the employees are all knowledgeable and straight-forward. The employees here know tires so well, and they explain everything perfectly. They'll answer all your questions, make sound suggestions, and they won't try to sell you anything you don't want.

Their tire certificate program is the best you'll find anywhere. It's not unlike what other retailers offer, however it differs in that it really is a zero hassle program. They won't nitpick and try to find a way out of replacing your tires (if they can't be repaired). They'll just deliver on the promises that the program offers, and send you on your way.

One thing everyone should note is that like other Discount Tire stores, this location is very busy on high traffic days (weekends, holidays, etc). You may have to wait a while for your service to be completed. Note that's typical of just about ANY large chain tire shop in town, though.

Very friendly service. I made an appointment but they had time earlier so they called me to see if I wanted to come in earlier. When I arrive they met me in the parking lot and got to work right away.

Ask for Christian at this store. He is very professional and will go above and beyond to help you.

Awesome experience! Me and my hubby had a blow out on I10 on our 5th wheel. We stopped in here and "David" helped us get on the road safely again! Thx David & Discount Tire! It's good 2 c that customer service still exists:)

Fast friendly helpful service! Buy the road hazard warranty, easily some of the best money I've spent.

Update: Again, I don't know another company that is better at customer service and this location is the best! I accidentally paid with the wrong card and Ben was super understanding and accommodating with fixing the issue even though they were super busy and it wasn't a quick fix. Again, I've worked in retail 10+ years and have no idea how all the employees are able to constantly keep their cool here. Even if I find prices at a cheaper price somewhere else, I'm still coming here.

Never had a bad experience at any Discount Tire location but this one is my favorite. The people working here are truly awesome! I've worked in retail for 11 years straight and I have no idea how they are able to work on car after car and also deliver top notch customer service everyday all day. Every employee I've talked to has been patient and super helpful. Would recommend to anyone!

Took me in just when they were closing their site; didn't have my tire but hooked me up with a loner, ordered a new tire from another store to have replaced the next day and everybody was all smiles. I love Discount Tire and wouldn't go anywhere else. Their customer service is impeccable!

Went to just have my tires rotated and thanks to the sharp eye of the employee (forgot his name) he pointed out that my tire had separation. I travel in my car quite a bit and knowing that my tire could blow at anytime on the expressway was worrying to me. The employees at this location had me in and out in JUST OVER 10 MINUTES! Fantastic! I've used Discount Tire for years now and will continue to be a faithfull patron.

Travis greeted me and answered my stupid questions with educated answers. I even made a mistake and he was able to fix the sales total with a smile. 5/5 experience, keep up the good work.

I went in for a flat tire, I somehow got a nail stuck in it and I was able to get it patched for no charge at all! They were really friendly, accommodating and timely.
