Discount Tire, Friendswood TX

Did a great job squeezing us in on a Saturday morning to find a slow air leak that turned out to be in the valve stem which did not show up the first time checked. They finished the car faster than expected in spite of the Saturday rush. Made us feel welcome and treated us well.

I visited today discount tire as i always go but the service I received today with the girl named Andriana is really good, i never received that service before

While we get our tires at discount because they offer the balance/rotation service at a set price for the life of the tire, I had my first experience buying the tires myself today (without my husband), and it will be my last. If you're new to buying tires like me, ask about the certificate of refund and why/why not you may need it, what it covers that the tire warranty doesn't. Also, don't feel pressured to buy tires if based on their safety recs they can still rotate/balance them. And, ask them to put one of your older tires for the spare under your SUV. When we went to pick up my SUV, and my husband noticed my 6 year old tire is still under the car, he asked if they could put one of the tires we had just replaced since they've done that before for us. The manager looked at us like we were crazy but agreed to do it.as long as I could leave my car there for who knows how long. I get they're busy, but Idk after spending 1k bucks for new tires, and being returning customers, you would think they could be more gracious. Just be prepared if you don't know much about cars/buying tires.

Waited longer than the expected time to complete before they decided to let their dirty tire tech get in my wife nice car. He was head to toe grease yet Alex didn’t seem to understand why I might be upset by that. Never giving this company money again.

Can someone help me understand why I have to make an appt and it still takes over an hour to get a tire patched at this location?

Ordered $1,400 worth of new tires. When the truck was pulled up to me the wheels were covered in grease and lubricant. They at first said it was normal, I explained it wasn't. They then said they would clean when I ask for the manager but I still had to clean them up when I got home. There were marks on the wheels as well. When your job is to install tires it would be nice if a company cared how they treated the vehicle they were putting them on. I have been a customer of Discount tire for over 25 years this was my first time at the Friendswood location and it will be my last.

Staff here are amazing! They always greet you with a smile and help get you exactly what works for you and your vehicle.

The employees here are always friendly and knowledgeable. This is my go to place anytime I need tires. It can get pretty busy in the morning so schedule online or come later in the afternoon if you can.

They do a great job and are fast! I’ve either scheduled an apt or come in as a walk in and they always take care of what I need

These guys always take care of all 4 of my trucks, they're professional, knowledgeable, and fast. I used to dread going to Discount and waiting for 2 or more hours just to have a leak fixed. The Friendswood FM518/FM528 location gets you in and out in a manageable time and worry-free every time.

I had a flat tire and booked an appointment online. I was seen to very quickly and they handled the situation very professionally. I felt like they offered me the services I needed and didn’t push anything else on me that I didn’t need. I will be coming back here, the service I received was excellent.

I've been putting off getting a new tire (literally filling my tire everyday for months) because I did not want to deal with the guilt the sales guys always press on you. BUT today, the guy was AMAZING. I didn't catch his name, and maybe it would even get him in trouble for not pushing me to buy another tire. All he said was "it's better to get two tires" I said I know. And that was it. It was the best experience! I will be coming back.

Tyson was fantastic. I has a puncture and they turned me around in 10 minutes. Great place and employees
