Discount Tire, Houston TX

I've used Discount for MANY years. Today was different! I had a blow out on my tire on the side wall. Not in the tread or anything, the SIDE WALL OF THE TIRE. I purchase a brand new tire here, they put it on the rim and roll it to me with no air. The rim has a little bend in it, telling me it will not hold air. I told them, let me bang it out, I've done it many times. They tell me it won't work. So, grabbed a hammer and a piece of wood and banged it out! IT'S HOLDING AIR! HA!

I love this location. Great customer service and they really care about their customers. Joey was especially helpful today handling an issue with my tires. I highly recommend them.

I love this store because they're always very fast to get you out of the store. Never way to long at all

This location went from 5 stars to 1. Went in to get my tires rotated and balanced. Was told my tires are at 5/32 and too bald for them to balance. Then proceeded to try and sell me new tires. What a load of garbage. This location refused to honor their agreement.

Always happy with Discount Tire, they take care of my tires and gives me their specials when needed.

I have mixed emotions about this place. They have great customer service. However, they tend not to put all your lug nuts back. I took my car in to get the tires done and have not touched my tires till today to change my brakes. As im changing my brakes, I realized all my tires are now missing 1 lug each. If you're wondering how I never noticed before, it'd because my lug Nut area has caps on them. I will never go back these kids can't do the simple job correctly of putting things back.

I've dealt with many many discount tire stores this store hands down has the best customer service. And by far the most efficient staff I've ever seen at any discount tire store. After pep boys lied to me about the cost of installation I drove 40 minutes to this store they mounted and balanced 9 trailer tires in less than an hour and a half and charge me exactly what they quoted me. Other than getting a price quote I did not make an appointment I pretty much just walked in.

Great service and staff. That's my favorite discount tire. Only con it takes over 40 minutes to get your tires replaced.

Gilbert was extremely helpful. He took care of me, gave me great advice on my tires. I was in and out in no time!

Tire prices are getting ridiculous but I don't blame the workers for that

I had a flat tire last week! Ended up purchasing two tires because I needed new ones! Gilbert was very helpful! I made an appt online and it was less than an hour from when I arrived until I left! Not bad! The price was good, I guess. I don’t really know how much tires are suppose to cost! Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because when I went in November I feel like it was too expensive, but again, it may be that I’m unable to cope with the fact that a tire is now easily over $200!

They did a great service and the staff is helpful and cordial. However, they're so busy it was a two hour wait to get one new tire put on my car. It would be nice if they would build more bays so they could have more service areas to knock out faster service times. But overall they're great and I'll keep coming back for that reason. I do think that prices are too high but then, everything is now days and they disposed of the tire for me so I can't complain. The one that went flat completed separated and had steel belts showing all the way around it.
