Discount Tire, Roanoke TX

I arrived at 8 am when they opened. Jacob A got me right in. They removed the nail from my tire, patched it and replaced the cap that goes on the stem that had been lost. They did it all in less than 30 minutes. Jacob was helpful, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend the Roanoke, TX Discount Tire! Thank you, Jacob for a great experience.

UPDATE:
If you go here, make sure the tires are given air to correct psi. I purchased new tires here for my daughter's car, spent $1,100 for 4 and warranty on them but 2 weeks later she got tire pressure warning. I checked and all 5 are supposed to be at 35psi but we're at 29 and 30psi. I had to fill them in the cold rain. Unacceptable. I thought everything was done but just make sure so this doesn't happen to you. Tires won't deflate in 2 weeks. They didn't fill them correctly. One star down.

I had a nail in my tire and they repaired it at no charge. They were friendly and professional. Definitely will go here for all my tire needs in the future.

I’ve e been giving this place my business since day one when they first opened. Have purchased tires for cars there for our cars at least a dozen times if not more. Have gone out of my way to continue giving them my business for the great service though the wait time has gotten pretty crazy. I can understand that though. I unfortunately have found, like with many businesses, loyalty to them means nothing. Went there for a tire rotation and because my low pressure indicator was on. I told Ivan at check in that I wasn’t losing any air pressure so I suspected it was the sensor and he said they would check that. Arrived at 1020 and was told it would be done by 12/1215. No problem. I said I’d go grab lunch while I waited. Got the text saying I checked in at 1041. No problem I’m eating lunch if it goes a little longer. Got the text saying it was ready but a wreck on 377 and 114 made me wait a little longer at lunch until it cleared out. Had another appointment coming up and went to pick it up. “Then” I was told a sensor must be out (really, who would have known other then that’s what I told him) and if I wanted it fixed it would be $64.95 a sensor…they didn’t even know which one it was yet. They then spent a couple of minutes with the handheld reader to determine which one it was and asked if I wanted to make an appointment for next week. Next week? I told him if they would have called and told me that was the issue instead of saying it was ready I would have had them fix it. Then they offered to fix it and it would take 20 minutes. Then why did you first ask if I wanted to make an appointment next week? Why didn’t you check it with the handheld at check in or when the tires were being rotated? I didn’t have time for that any longer due to another appointment and after them having the vehicle for over two hours. For a rotation and an issue I told them about at check in. Poor communication and customer service. Anyone else can provide at least that. It won’t hurt them if they don’t get my money anymore. And they don’t respond to negative reviews so obviously aren’t concerned. If you have the option to go to another place, even an hour out of your way, take it.

Very helpful staff. This is where I purchase all my tires. They even fix my lawn equipment tires without charge.

Logan assistant manager is just the kindest most personable guy I’ve ever worked with at a discount tire. He just wants to do the right thing and is very helpful whenever it comes to just about anything. Definitely recommend this discount tire and if Logan is there, he is super helpful and will help you make the best decisions with your car!

For years, my go to place to buy tires has been Costco, but the logistics of buying tires at Costco is a pain.

I have been by this particular location on multiple occasions and noticed it was always busy, so I thought I would check them out. I looked up the company online and read the history, and liked what I saw.

So, then my wife’s car had a flat in a place where it would require a new tire, we were getting close to needing a whole new set, so I went for it.

It was late on a Saturday, and I felt it would be difficult to get in, but they were able to and in the amount of time they had said.

The tires were mounted and balanced and no issues since the installation. The salesman was friendly and had good suggestions on the replacement.

After that experience, I signed up for the app and emails which told me when the tires that I wanted for my truck would be on sale (bonus), so I ordered the tires in the app and scheduled an appointment to my needs, and everything worked like clockwork. Tires arrived, I received notification, went to my appointment, and everything as smooth as silk. You really can’t ask for anything else.

Logan from the Discount Tire, Roanoke service center was very helpful. My left rear tire middle threads were worn out somehow even though the right tire is in good shape. Logan worked out a deal and was very friendly. I have always used Discount Tire for all of my tire related work and I will continue to use Discount Tire. The car was ready for pick-up in less than hour on a busy Saturday. Thank you, Logan!

My go to tire shop for years. Logan, William, and Austin from the tire mounting team, have always helped and been more than accommodating of my requests. I will go out of my way to keep coming back here.

Came in to have tire repaired and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. After over 2 hours of checking in multiple times and being promised that they would get it done soon I took my keys and left. Several people who came in well after I did had their jobs done before I left.

Top notch customer service. I called in explained my situation that I had just moved and blew a tire. Colby informed me my warranty would cover any issues. The tire was ordered. When I arrived I was greeted and helped my Cooper "awesome young man " pro military. Being a retired Marine really appreciate this, he had me squared away in mins. If I could give this store 10 stars I would top notch all the way thank you gents

Wonderful, prompt, love the price matching guarantee. Did not pressure me to add a warranty. Helpful but not condescending, which is refreshing for any type of car service.

Over the past 2 months my wife and I have both had the unfortunate luck of getting a nail in the tire (thanks growth). The team at this Discount Tire were busting their butts despite it being 108 degrees. Smiles on their faces, working hard as a team and even the GM himself was out serving customers, carrying boxes and at times on all 4's looking under cars.

I can't say enough good things about this specific location but in this day and age where good quality service is nearly impossible to come by, Discount Tire knocks it out of the park!

Had my tires rotated and no one checked the air pressure after rotation. After I left the store, I thought it was done too fast so I pulled over and checked it myself. Yep, 44 psi on the front and 35 on the rear! Suppose to be 37 on the front and 44 on the rear. Leaving in a couple days for a road trip.
Great that they do this service but needs to be done correctly.
Ok, got my car back again and tires still do not have the correct psi, got in line to get air check so maybe I can get it correct the third time.
Arrived at 7: 40am and leaving at 9: 50. Usually the service is top notch but not today.

Man this place is busy! Left my car there at lunch and came back at 5: 00pm wasn’t done till around 6/6: 30. It was about $550 for two front tires and they were Falken brand. The staff was pretty nice and they were willing to communicate over the phone so that I could get back to work at lunch. They also sourced a local tire to be brought to the store since they only had one at first and worked with me to find a more financially accommodating option than the ones presented since my model of vehicle has weird tire dimensions. I would go back in the future because they did make the process easier. It did take a lot of time because they are so busy!

Fast quality service. Just don’t go anywhere else. Honest, respectful and great service. What more can you ask for? A well managed business like this one will always have me as a customer.

This has to be the BEST Discount Tire location of all! They are so friendly and courteous. I arrived as a "walk in" with a nail in my tire and they had me back on the road in less time than originally promised. Not only was the service fast and friendly, they did not even charge me! Highly recommend this location and kudos to the manager for such a well run operation!

Manager Kolby Johnson is simply amazing! He's taken extremely great care of our entire family for many years! We all would be lost without him. This location is awesome and has always helped me out whenever I needed it, in a timely manner as well whenever possible. Ivan went out of his way for me and literally delivered my keys to my work when I couldn't come pick up my car / keys before close. His customer service is outstanding! Thank you!
