Park Discovery Green reviews
19 Love the park. It's got a splash zone for the little ones, play ground. Great picnic area and places to sit in the shade. A little oasis amongst giant sky scrapers. Well maintained.
No free parking though.
Always clean, tons of space for kids to run. Lots of activities going on for adults and kids alike. Parking is usually hard to find though.
It is a blessing to see so many families get together and fellowship with one another and enjoy all of our HEAVENLY FATHER'S CREATION AMEN AND HALLELUJAH AND AMEN!
Nice playground for the kids and nice green space.
Also found bullet casings on the playground (literally. Not joking.)
Great on a Sunday morning, probably not the best after 10 pm on any given night (not that I'd know, I'm usually in bed by then).
Lots of things for kids to do (water features, mini sailboats, kayaking, and play structures). For adults, there are restaurants, live dance performances, and kayaking. Also, there was a champagne party on the evening I was there.
This is pretty cool place. Lots to look at, and do. We took the kids to the outdoor skating rink, and watched some dancing.
Had a great afternoon with the colored balls and the great cooler weather today at Discovery Green! A great time was had by all. Fun and then a movie by the water. Amazing!
It was very informative. Plenty of written information booths were very busy didn't get to talk to anyone there.
Amazing open area for families with their kids.i would go there just because of the area surrounding this
A great green space on the heart of downtown.its always in motion, brides taking photos. Kids playing a riot of ice cream trucks restaurants and George R Brown convention centre within sight. In the summer Kayaks in the winter an ice rink. People walking dogs. Art fairs, art cars there a wide range of events hosted here.
Beautiful outdoor areas. One of my top favorite in Houston. I would recommend looking at their activities schedule for some fun to do activities with family or a date.
Great place to hang out or visit as a tourist on a nice night. Usually some kind of event happens there, kids playground, man-made pond, restaurants, and food trucks all around. Street parking will be an issue so went straight into a lot.
It was great. I got to see people from different parts of the world. Not only that there was plenty food at the festival and there is a place for the kids.
No free parking lot around & woman rest room long line leave before any show ends or u r gonna get stuck in traffic the rest is ok u can seat on the grass benches if lucky & buy food around pricey depends on what.but beautiful view in Downtown.
Fun fun fun! They always have great activities. There’s ice skating during the winter months. Got to experience the city going all out for the Superbowl with live music, food, Nasa rides. Stay on the lookout for fun activities. You can always go chill out as well.
Just a great place. Love the environment. Downtown is one of my favorite parts of this great city and I'm happy that Discovery Green replaced what was there prior.
It was a good experience. It feels like I was on Moon. We were surrounded by colourful Moons. Aerobic Dance was very nice
Always something going on and a lot of free stuff for the family. You can just walk and find something here. Very nice spot just to take breather
