Doc's Bar & Grill Abilene

Great bar. Im new to Abilene and have enjoyed this bar and grill the most of any I visited.

Attended Docs for the first time for a X-Mas party. I cannot say enough good things about it. From the food to the atmosphere and the incredible service not to mention the drinks! It was amazing I definitely enjoyed my evening here. Hands down 10/10 recommend.

They are way to busy and under staffed.
Came in to eat something. Had a beer and left.
The place is hard to find the driveway "if you can call it that". I've traveled better goat paths.

The wife and I drove out there tonight. We Gave the special (chicken fried steak) a try. We was pleasantly surprised, the chicken fried steak was on point. The mashed potatoes and green beans were also delicious. Service by Leann was awesome.

Ordered the catfish plate. Lots of grey belly meat on the fish. No hush puppies or fries came with the meal. The coleslaw was tasteless. The beans were very good though.

Just left, our food was delicious, enough food we had leftovers and left with full bellies! Our waitress LeAnn was absolutely amazing too! Attentive, kind, and did a fantastic job! Give that girl a raise! Thank you for letting us spend Halloween with the Doc family!

Love this family friendly restaurant/bar and the people from staff to patrons are pleasant, low drama, and come from every walk of life. Just a great place with great food and a beautiful outdoor space with a playset, cornhole, and fireplaces! The nachos feed me for three meals and the truffle fries are amazing! Beer selection is also exceptional!

First time to dine at Doc's Grill this evening. We had some pork fries and Chicken Fried Steak (both the bride and I). Really great food! A bit pricey, but we tried their "feature" platter (cfs) and we weren't disappointed. Steak was battered crispy and light, the cubed Steak was fork tender and the cream gravy was delicious. The green beans were a bit too spicy (bride) but I enjoyed myself. The pork BBQ fries were fantastic as well. We'll be back!

Music was STUPID loud! My husband got a headache after 30 minutes. I dont mind music a little loud and it was even hard on me especially for an indoor venue. I wondered if the band realized they weren't outdoors. Crazy amount of people in a small space. Chaos at the bar. We couldn't stand it. We had to leave.

We went on Tuesday, Chicken Fried Steak night and it was the best chicken fried steak we have had in years. The place was full, but the service was excellent and it was cool, an oddity right now. We will definitely go again!

Very friendly, family vibe. Alligator bites were amazing and the chicken fried steak was the way to go.

We went on chicken fry night. Chicken fry steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. It was good. Seemed like they are short on staff but most of the people in there were patient. Overall, not bad. Want to go back and try the pizza.

A great place for a casual dinner with friends. A good selection of basic beers, with margaritas and drinks to go with a tasty menu of classic American pub food served up by great people. The daily specials are awesome. The ribs were on point tonight.
