Dollar General, Baytown TX

I love the Dollar General store in Mont Belvieu on Eagle Drive. The renovations make the store more inviting. I would also like to commend Josie for being so courteous and welcoming. It seems like she enjoys her job. The other workers are also friendly.

Love this place but please keep the items stocked to clean up the place a little better. Great customer service and variety of items.

They went above ans beyond for me. Paid for my taxi service to get my children and did their best 100% I will be going back! Thank you

When I get ready to pay, i always have to go look for the attendant that is no where to be found.

It's closer than walmart that's handy for me, most of the things I buy there are about the same price something's are even a few cents cheaper. The employees have always been friendly and helpful to me even tho they're doing 2 jobs at once, stocking shelves and running to work the cash register.

I go here alot only bad thing i had to complain about i know its hard when shipment hits and u have to unload it and set the items but they had some lanes blocked with boxes but besides that my family goes there always

I'm giving them because they keep the store hot for one and there is alway boxes in the isles no matter what time of day. But I like the prices.

I will boycott this store as long as the woman that was working around 5pm on 6-22-19 is still employed there. A lady that looked to be in her 70s was trying to pay for her items and was having problems with the card problems. The Dollar General employee told the lady very loud it's declined you don't have money in your account. Their were 2 other people infront of us waiting to check out and one behind us. The next in line guest asked the employee because there is 2 standing at the same register if she could open another register. I didn't her what she told him put he set his items down and walked out. The lady with the declined card is now looking for cash in her purse. The employee spoke very load again and said "Oh now you're going to pay in cash". The lady responded with "if I have enough or I can write a check". The employee response load enough for everyone to hear "we not going to be able to run your check". The lady is still looking thru her purse and started crying. My wife and I had enough of the employee and felt sorry for the lady. So my wife paid the $31 dollars, the employee then went to open the other register and checked out the guy behind us. Just icing on the cake for me. The lady infront of us was just shaking her head.

If this is the type of people Dollar General is going to employ then I will take my business elsewhere and would hope other residents in the community would do the same.

The best place to buy household cleaning and laundry/dish items. Staff is always polite and cheerful. I almost have no reason to shop at walmart. If 24 hour joe vee's, food town, or dollar general ever happened, id never see the inside of another walmart.

Slow to check people out at the register and they always have the doors open.why? The lady that was at the register was good when we were there. She was extremely sweet and personable. Definitely prefer this place over the Family Dollar next to it. Family Dollar staff are sooooo rude!

Worst Dollar General! Can't find ANYTHING! All the issues are blocked with merchandise and you can NOT GET DOWN THE ISLES TO SHOP! VERY DIRTY IN THE STORE AS WELL!

There are always boxes lining the shields can see products much less get carts threw, I love there products just not how this store is ran

I just left from trying to get some stain remover for my clothes. I asked for help locating it but was told it's somewhere by the laundry detergent when both girls were just standing there talking. I finally found it after having to climb the Shelf to grab from the very top in the very back because it wasn't faced and visible at all. When I got to the register one girl was laying on the ground talking to the other. What happened to customer service or even caring about your job

I have to be honest. It has been a Terrible experience the last 3 times I went there. It's a mess. Can't even see what's on th shelves because there are carts everywhere. Can't even get a cart down most aisles. #justsayin.

Usually has everything and friendly staff. The new one a couple miles down the road is never stocked. I always end up coming back to this one.
