Dollar General, San Antonio TX

I really don't recommend this store they are giving me trouble with a expired id even though it says my birthday and I told them that I'll be receiving my id through mail.also they gave me he'll today and my friend we went in and my older friend got what we were going to get and they asked for my id but I was gonna purchase I stuff but they are still giving me he'll with my id and it's so unorganized there also

It's a great little area store. The employees are friendly. It saves me from having to go into the city for the small necessities

This place has really gone down hill! Poorly managed, and probably understaffed. Management, how can you not recognize this place is a mess? !? !

This use to be an ok store but the staff is so rude now. In the future I will go out of my way not to go to this store. Also, why do you restock items that patrons have paid for and accidentally left behind? When I called to ask if my bag was there I was told "I don't know. When you forget your stuff we put it back on the shelf. " Oh and let's not forget how this store never has items in stock. The store could use an unannounced inspection, especially since the workers honestly just don't care about the business or the locals that shop there.

I will not return to this DG, due to the staff! I read reviews about friendly staff, well that may be true, but I went in there one weekend and the staff were using profanity. Not very customer related.

They always charge a different price at the register. Sign said 3/$11 on sodas but they wouldn't honor price. Oreos 2pk/$1. Register said $0.60 ea. Didn't know until we paid and walked out. Same with milk, always a different price than on display.

When it came time to check out my items. There were no prices showing on the screen for my checkout and I had to go by what they told me was my pay out total. If that is the case then I won't know if I'm paying the correct price on that item. Is this the way it is at all Dollar General Stores?

They never have Big Red or gallons of water. If you know they sell fast why not order extras?

I would give a zero but can’t.workers not wearing masks no one social distancing and customers also not wearing masks.my cashier who I’m thinking was the manager (annaliza) wasn’t wearing a mask or enforcing the policy that has just recently been implemented about businesses required to wear masks before entering the the store.this is why employees and customers continue to get sick!

With everything going on I expect the stores to be not as stocked.but I think that they should have more than one person at a register when you have so many customers in line.

This one is close to me. New mgr has brought in lots of new items. (New to this store) however.this store is HIGH VOLUME hard to keep up with. I notice not a lot of floor employees.but I think its due to. Corporate. (from what I was told by previous mgr.)

Went in to get something cold to drink after work. Wind up spending $35! Never fails. Shelves are full already for Easter Day. Who doesn't want candy! A couple of mark downs from the holidays to choose from and Spring merchandise as well. Staff is always friendly, helpful and acknowledge everyone that comes in through the door. Will stop after work now and then.

Most times its clean and organized, and I can find things and checkout my items quickly there.

Massive lines if you need something dont go around till after 7 pm. One person at the register
