15This store has grown and has brought in so many decor items and holiday items. It is always clean and friendly customer service. There is a fruit and vegetable area now. The refrigeratored area has great selection. Only one concern, some items may not be priced which requires having to ask for price. This means finding someone to ask, getting in line to ask or just not buying it. Overall, one of the best dollar stores in the surrounding area.
The Dollar store is just not what it used to be. Prices are very high for product quality & or quantity. I usually shop there for bathroom & kitchen cleaning supplies, a few toiletries & occasional cards & sometimes candles.
I moved here a year ago from Dallas, and This is hands down the Cleanest dollar general I’ve ever been too! Nothing is ever out of place! & that’s coming from someone who visits DAILY sometimes twice a day.
Plus these girls are so sweet! I never have any complaints. Dollar general should think about pay raises for these ladies because they go above and beyond every.single.day!
They have a good selection on almost all items. The staff is always helpful and in good spirits!
I'm new to the area and was happy to see a Dollar General BUT oh my goodness LONE Oak DG ie AMAZING! They have fresh fruit and veggies and everything imaginable I don't have to go to the BIG STORES if I don't want to! The CSRs were friendly and attentive GREAT JOB DG!
Not well organized. Hard to shop when employees are having to unload boxes and stock shelves. Not the best Dollar General in the Quinlan-Emory
Food on the shelf is sometimes past sale date.
Having to make sure the food I'm buying from here isn't spoiled is a constant task.
We were in camping and thought to make a quick run to Dollar General hopefully we could find the long prongs to stick hotdogs on to cook over an open fire. Since this store was close to several camping locations. Only to be informed in a very passive aggressive manner, any type of camping supplies was a specialty item and Dollar General does not carry specialty items.
It was as expected. A little neater than some others I've been to. Great selection of flipflops!

My one star is pushing it two of the most unfriendly women checking people out and i stood in line 30 minutes to pay for my 2 items
The employees are always friendly and helpful. Everything they do is to make sure the customers have what they need!
Please teach and train your cashier Anna that is is ok to great and speak to African American (Black people) when they walk into the store and she checks them out. It is extremely rude and racist to ignore someone that is standing right in front of you and they say absolutely nothing so disrespectful to say the least people like this should know better. I PAY HER SALARY so that this store is open with the rest of the community in Lone Oak she had better grown up and WAKE UP!
The best dollar general I've ever been to. Clean place and easy to get to. The new updates have really made this place awesome
