Dollar General, Port Arthur TX

The male cashier was the rudest cashier I have ever encountered. It was Thanksgiving day and I over heard him and another cashier discussing working on this day. I stood there for a moment then he started to scan my items only to slam them down in the bag then he slammed my receipt down on the counter I told him he is very rude told the other cashier probably MOD did not say one word and then I told the manager did not say a word to him. I will never go in there again only if dire emergency. He needs lesson in manners 101. They received bad survey from my. Manager needs to manage her sales associates. He was not even dressed appropriately

This place has a lot of stuff for help with things around the house. When I need something immediately I just go to the Dollar General and it's very useful what they have there. I love the place but truly there was something that I didn't find their that was homily. Love it!

Fast and easy service. I was in and out within 10 mins. The store was clean and for the most part organized.

Awesome people Just Store isn't Running like a Business. Inventory Sucks there. I understand that it has unforseen issues that prolonged the situation like mother nature that you can't control but until I went down the street and that store was immaculate there should be no reason for that issue at that particular store other than management not doing the job correctly.

This store is honestly the best kept Dollar anything store that I have ever seen! They literally make floor displays! Everything was front and faced and you could tell that anything displaced must have very recently happened that day. It was clean and smelt good!

Friendly staff. Quick shopping. Wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking. No curbside pickup.

I don't know if race is a problem here but this people didn't want to attend me. They keep me waiting in line and they make me move so they can attend other customers. BAD SERVICE! Horrible service!

Always clean always well stocked considering the current issues. Employees are always friendly and helpful

I am Very Impressed with the store! Just walking in, it smelt so good! Very Very Clean, I have not seen a DG this clean before! It feels welcoming and very very organized! Was impressed by the home decor/ essentials section!

I wanted to tell u about this store. THere is a young man working so hard with no one helping him. Hes management materal and he needs a raise. Goes to work everyday so respectful and such a great leader.i think his name is Abel. I hope u guys are giving him extra pay and a bonus for working in this crisis. I really hope u will consider him for management position. Thank u so much from a loyal customer

So I've been shopping at this location since it's been here and I've never had a sales person as nice as the young man Abel that works there now. The store manager doesn't even speak to you when u come in nor does she make eye contact when ringing you up, so sad. But I sent my daughter back in last night to get this young man's name because he needs recognition. Abel is by far the nicest, most professional worker they've had since they broke ground. Give this guy a raise, he deserves it. He's always offering help, he always wishes u a good day, he's just an A+ guy! If I don't see him, I'm turning around and going to the other store.

Very very clean stocked and actually nice to shop there. Very nice asst.mgr from another store there. As of the day I shopped there I do recommend

Every store in this town dies not have 1% milk except for Dollae general, I was so happy to see the variety that they had.
