Dollar General, San Antonio TX

Only one cashier. No "hello" when you walk in, no smile either. Stuff is everywhere. Boxes and carts within the aisles is a safety issue.

Store has been updated and completely remodeled with better merchandise and name brands available now!

The store is much like all other stores around this area, short on all stock. Unlike the other stores this one is messy and short on staff. Im sorry to say that is unpleasant to be there. The cashier was pleasant and I didn't see any other employees until check out then i saw what I think was the manager.

Awsome place good for the casual groceries and is really clean inside but the outside may seem dirty but overall good

Store was in complete disarray. Jeff the cashier was not friendly, didn’t say one word no hello or thank you. I’ll choose another location from now on.

I am not fond of this place bc once inside shopping its discovered that it by no means is a dollar store as nothing in the place is a dollar! This place is actually the old Woolworth and Perry's rebranded as a dollar store. Would not recommend unless for convenience only.

Ok, exactly what you you would expect, clean & friendly staff. Every now & then there will be a long line to check out, but mostly pretty fast check out & well stocked

Im in this store almost every day they have a great variety of products and decent prices very conveniant the staff is phenomenal everyone speaks respectfully they say yes sir no sir.you never hear them knocking off or being inappropriate.they always welcome you and say good bye.they know where everything is so i give this store huge props for costomer service. The manager Rob is doing great as far as making sure everything is good and comfortable with costomers.

I went to this store on Hillcrest Dr, San Antonio, Tx. Their register was not working right. Wasn't giving out customers receipts. Doesn't make any sense. Their aisle had a lot of boxes. You couldn't even pass with your cart.

I had the worst experiences ever. As I walking I I witnessed a cashier yelling and telling a customer to empty there pocket. I feel that she put herself employee and customer in danger for a pack of socks an other little stuff she could used better judgment. Then when it came to me paying for my stuff she refuse to give me my soda 3 for 10 because they were not all the same produce. I showed her the were all coke products and still yelled and refuse to honor it despite what I showed her. Very Inprofessitioal even for someone trying to pay.

This location is awful. Everytime I come here you cannot even get down the aisles, and there's always one person on register no matter how many people are in line. The poor guy working is doing a great job, but 13 people were in line ahead of me, while whatever mgr on duty was eating in the back. This place sucks!

This place is A-maz-ing! Lol they always have what I'm looking for at the time I'm looking for it. Which says something. I couldn't find a water anywhere (bc it was still considered "winter") {pft, like that's an actual thing in texas} but this store had them. For $5 no less. They have hair care products for a variety of ethnicities, employees change often but they're all cool and helpful.

Got to say Dollar General is a favorite store for me. I dont have the store as close as I did before I moved so dont go as much. But would love to have one closer. Since the prices are good and even had sales at times I would get some of groceries there. Employees are helpful pretty much in every DG I have gone to.

Very clean and organized, staff is helpful and.makes sure.you.able to.find what.you are looking for. I can literally stay there for hours.

Well I guess we all have are own idea of clean, This store is always a mess and the ppl who work there are a little slow, not to be mean.is what it is.

I recommend you going to the Dollar General because it's a good Dollar General the people that work there they treat their customers like really nice and they're nice to them and everything and it's close by a lot of stuff so close by a lot of store and if you want something cheap Dollar General is a place to go

Not very friendly employees. Did not have what I was looking for couldn't get out there fast enough.

The store has lots of merchandise you might not think it would have. The staff here is what makes the true difference. Especially Brandon and Leslie.

Real clean place.too bad they don't cell beer.they'd make big buck with the ballroom next too.guess the risk of isnt worth the money
