Long wait, but worth it. I had the bacon burger and it was the best burger I have ever had. Place order online to save some time. The blueberry lemonade was bomb as well.

Honestly one of the best vegan burgers I have EVER had. We get the vegan bacon burgers and they are amazing. Also don’t skip the fried mushrooms. They put fried chicken to shame. Great food!

This is a shadow kitchen. 1/3/2022 took my lunch order for takeout before I realized there was no real storefront. I waited 40 minutes only to have the takeout counter assistant tell me there was no one in the kitchen. Unacceptable huge waste of time.

I love all of Dollies dishes….
Especially the way she does the mushrooms and salad.
And when I have a taste for burgers I definitely love to try the creative vegan burgers

First of all, this is not its own restaurant. It’s a kitchen only that’s part of many other kitchens all in one building. You have to place an online order and cannot physically speak to the restaurant.

We drove all the way there AND placed an online order just to find out it’s actually closed, despite stating that it’s open until midnight. Waste of time.

I'm in town visiting, YOUR BUSINESS HOURS NEED TO COINCIDE WITH THE TIMES THAT YOUR ACTUALLY OPEN. DO BETTER!

The fried mushrooms are amazing, they’re seasoned to perfection and crunchy and so so good. I love the “bacon” burger and those fries are good even when you reheat them! I’m always ubering this place for lunch and will definitely have to check out the actual restaurant on a weekend. The food comes hot and tastes like it just came out the kitchen. I’m not even a vegan and this is my favorite place to order from.

Really good vegan burgers but the chilli not so good and kind of bland. TERRIBLE service tho, i ordered my food at 2 and got it at 6pm and when i called to check in they blew me off so be sure to order weeks in advance if you decide to try them out. Also expect terrible and rude customer service I should’ve listened to the other reviews lol. All three stars are for the burgers.

It said that I would expect to pick it up at 615 and I am still waiting for it 45 minutes later. I ordered at 545, so I've spent almost an hour and a half waiting. At this point I should have just cancelled it, but I don't even know how to. I hope the food is amazing because I'm livid.

Update: the food was amazing 15 minutes later. If you order it for Uber eats or something I'm sure it will be fine. Just don't walk up.

Was in Houston Oct 6 through the 10th and was looking for a nice Vegan place to eat when I came across Dollies. Reviews looked good and so I ordered two Vegan BLTs with additions and an order of vegan chili fries. As we were hungry and couldn’t wait to devour it. Then the food arrived. It was cold and the sandwiches were not correct and the chili fries came with no utensils. I called the bistro and told them what had happened and they seemed upset that I called them to tell them of the mistake. They didn’t offer to make our order again and asked me what I wanted to do. I asked them if we can just get a new meal and they replied back to me with a we will just refund you back. To this day I have not seen the refund. The hospitality in Texas was great unfortunately the hospitality at this bistro was not there.

The biggest problem with Dollies isn't the food, it's the wait time. No matter when you order the food simply takes forever to come out. The most recent time I was there my party ordered two burgers and some fries, simple enough. Forty five minutes later the food was not ready and the amount of time left for the food was left nebulous, at best. So, we had to leave to a prior appointment and come back.

This was not the first time this had happened to me at Dollies, but each time it did I convinced myself that this must have been because of some other thing going on. But, as they say, once is an event, twice is coincidence, three times is a pattern. After multiple times dealing with this I just have no more patience. Burgers and fries should not take that long.

The food itself is good. Burgers are moist, toppings are fine. The high point is undeniably the sauces, which are delicious! The juices are hit and miss, some amazing some bland.

To loop back though, they may be good but they're not great, certainly not to the point of where they take the time they're asking for. They also push the bound of reasonability for the price. Vegan options abound in Houston, and Dollies competitors offer better quality food, and more of it, for the same price.

As such, I really can't recommend Dollie's. If you want burgers or rich vegan food I'd recommend either the Houston Sauce Pit or Lindiana's, which will both give similar food truck experiences but with a lot more value per dollar spent. They're also both in the neighborhood.

If you're at Blodgett food hall already, maybe it's worth the order. I would order ahead if you could, but their fried food is only good fresh out of the frier, and who wants to take that risk?

If you do go, get the fried mushrooms, which are amazing. And try a juice, you'll probably like it.

Placed an order two hours prior to closing through doordash and my order was confirmed. Waited around 1hr 45min only to have my order canceled with a message saying that the resteraunt was closing. Why wouldn't you fulfill all confirmed orders first? And they don't answer the phone. What type of service is that? I could've ordered from somewhere more reliable.
