Domain at The Gate, Frisco TX

I must say. I absolutely love staying here. I have been here for a while. The staff is great and most importantly the communication is timely.

The manager, Rodney Sherman, is the reason why my stay here has been pleasant. Unfortunately, I have had a history with horrible apartment managers at other communities, with lack of proper communication being the problem. Not here. The building is clean. I have no issues with this Domain at the Gate

Long story short, cleaning up Xmas decorations lead to a pine tree branch breaking my garbage disposal. At the same time my washing machine lock broke. Tanner was unbelievably outstanding with getting everything resolved for me. His professionalism and quality of work raises the bar for a standard of excellence! Immediately you can tell how trustworthy & honest of a guy he is, So I didn’t even think twice about leaving the apartment while he was fixing everything. I just renewed my lease bc of people like Tanner, who work here!

I just started moving into the complex and couldn’t be more pleased with the management team at the Domain, especially Jasmine and Sophie. My unit ended up being smaller than I expected due to my own oversight. I went to the front desk thinking trying to switch units at the last minute would be nearly impossible. Jasmine assured me it’s fine and helped make the switch as quick and seamless as possible. Best management team I’ve come across.

Very well-managed property. Great location! Although the property isn't the newest, they do a really nice job of keeping it clean and maintained. Tanner is always kind and great at fixing or helping with any maintenance issues. Sophie is the most helpful manager I've ever encountered. The management is friendly and they make an effort to engage the residents. There are also two very responsive courtesy officers on site. The whole staff is really helpful. Fantastic place to live Also Karen is literally the best leasing agent ever! She's made every detail super convenient. I knew her at an old complex and she was great. And she made move in here seemless and I also transferred to a bigger apartment recently and she was soo soo helpful with that transition as well. Couldn't ask for any better from her and the rest of the staff follows suit!

Highly do not recommend. For the price it is terribly out of its ballpark. Garage never works, so your vehicle is exposed contrary to you "paying" for that security. Fire alarms go off A LOT, walls are thin.very thin.gym is fair at best, golf simulator is half decent if it works, guest parking is a pain to deal with and no street parking and now the new one will "possibly require a fee" to add on, their rent is well over $100 on top of advertised after their tickmaster fees, and they just jacked up prices on rent for my renewal like they want me out. I can get the same footage 2 exits away in a very nice location if not better for $1400 less. FACTS. Absolutely have been overcharged here for a year with sub par amenity and sub par place.

Big thanks to Karen Stratton at The Domain. She was incredibly helpful throughout the leasing process as I was eager to find a new place. Her professionalism, efficiency, and courteous manner are commendable. I highly recommend this place for lux amenities and a great community.

This is the best apartment in all of frisco! For one the management company (Karen, Sophie, Rodney) do an amazing job at making you feel welcome, appreciated and are always looking for ways to help. Ever since day 1 they have been really supportive and helpful. The gym is probably the best one in terms of apartments around the area and that’s a big thing for me. They even have protein powder for free! The cleaning stuff does a marvelous job at making sure everything is spotless they clean every single day! I don’t think I’ve ever seen this place dirty. Maintenance fixes everything within a day or two at the most and they deliver! I know they changed maintenance managers mid ways and the new guy is really good! You can tell they all care about this property. All the people that live at this complex are really welcoming. This complex deserves a 10 star review!

Lived here from 2019 - 2023. In that time saw rent increase around 80% thru mgmt change. Drastic reduction in quality when property management changed around 2021. Poor communication from office with attempts to nickel and dime at every opportunity.

I just moved in less than a month ago and I love it here already! Karen helped to make my move-in super easy. I had an AC problem within the first 2 weeks of moving but the Yondro, solved the issue within hours. Such an amazing property!

There are many things to love living in here. The two-floor gym with a lot of lighting and fresh air, the trash valet, and most importantly, the tidiness of the entire building and inside the unit. Its been a week since we moved in, its quiet any time of the day, everything is easy to access to, staffs are very responsive and always asking if we need anything. Sophie and Karen helped us moving in and answered our questions promptly. Oh and the property is managed with a lot of smarthome devices so we can control the gate, the in-home thermostat, and pay anything with our smartphones, which makes everything super handy.

Besides difficulty moving in and access to move furniture the amenities are amazing for families! The smell of the carpet in the hallways are weird but inside the apartment is really functional. Lots of storage, good appliances, and the views are nice!

I personally can't say enough great things about living at Domain. I've been here for almost 3 years now, and still love calling this place my home. It's one of the best apartments I've ever stayed in while living in Frisco - conveniently located near The Star, Market Street/Kroger, CVS, tons of food options, etc. The management, staff, and maintenance team is always so kind, friendly, and addresses any issues immediately. I would 100% recommend living here - you won't regret it!

Karen in the leasing office is very helpful and makes sure the move in is smooth. Clean place and amentities as well.

Highly recommend not living here. Rent is $100 more than advertised after factoring in all of their ticketmaster-like fees. Zero street parking available. Guests must register vehicles on a website daily with a passcode and towing is aggressively enforced. The ban on dangerous dog breeds is not enforced. The garage has "structural issues" they have been investigating for a year and you can hear the floor bounce as cars drive over. Garage gate is broken the vast majority of the time which resulted in a car break in and bike theft problem. The pool is nice though.

I have really enjoyed living at Domain at the Gate. Karen has been very helpful and responsive every time I need something. She helped me find the ideal floor plan I was looking for and made all my apartment wishes come true. The complex is always clean and the staff is super friendly. I've lived in many apartment complexes over the last few years, but Domain at the Gate has been by far my favorite. I would 100% recommend living at this apartment complex!
