Restaurant Don Carbon reviews
13Everything was awesome! I ordered half a chicken and the white meat was dry, the manager came to my table and bought me a new one asap! Love this place, I wish we had more grilled chicken franchises everywhere.
I will give you 5 stars because my friends said they enjoyed your restaurant and complimented your food.
Good food and the service was good, I tip them because they bring your food to you and they pick up your plates after you're done.
My fiance loved this place, I just thought it was alright. The seasoning on chicken just wasn't for me. The sides were very good and very large portions. Next time I'll have to try something else
This place sucks. I used to go to Don Carbon a lot before and right now it’s not the same a combo it’s almost $14 for simple disgusting chicken! The baked potato it’s not cooked well as well as the chicken and they give you really small pieces and nothing it’s even good taste. I just don’t recommend this place specially the one in Anthony, it’s only truck drivers that go there and that’s why it’s still open.
Today was my first time trying the food here, and this is how it went.
First, let me say this isn't a normal type mextec restaurant. There are no regular beans, no tacos, or burritos.
So I ordered the fajitas mixed with the beans they do have, and the rice with grilled onions and cheese and corn tortilla.
The meats were horribly dry and had a strange taste. The rice is dry and bland. The beans, well, I didn't even try cause it looked revolting.
So i put together a tortilla with the meats grilled onions rice and cheese and got the first bite down though it was like eating flavored chalk and then a second bite but the third bite I spit out I couldn't agree with the taste not even a bit.
Here's where the problems started. I paid 19.19 for this food and hated it, so I returned everything. At first, they were not willing to refund my money cause they said since I touched the food, it's not their responsibility anymore well f.k that big time. There is no clear signage saying all sales or purchases are final, and I'm not throwing 20 bucks away for horrible food I didn't eat. So I persisted and after the employee had a long talk on the phone with the manager or whoever they said we'll give you the refund but only this time and I said that's fine there won't be a next time cause I won't ever eat this food again. Through this entire thing, I maintained a respectful low town and was nothing but polite.
Definitely not worth the price I see the owner only responds to 5 stars but the food has no flavor
Love it. Great food, great taste and reasonably priced. The chicken fit bowl is my favorite! The torreados are always on point too.
Wow first time I ate there food was a absolute 110% the service a plus to go with the food definitely will be back next time I'm frive thru Texas
Go-to stop when driving long distances on I-10. The food is tasty, portions are huge. And the staff is friendly!
Very clean, good service, good food, happy faces, no wait, great & awesome job for the new team & management
Charged for items we did not get, very slow service, been waiting 30 minutes for a quesadilla. Very unfriendly.
Delightful! Had 2 piece chicken with Charro Beans and Macaroni Salad sides. Can't speak highly enough about the sides! Prices very reasonable for the quality and service.
