Dong Bo Sung reviews
11The noodles for my black noodles (jajangmyeon) wasn’t fresh and was cold. When we decided to confront the chef about it, instead of fixing it, he made snarky comments saying “do you want me to microwave it for you”. No sense of customer service here. Won’t be back and don’t recommend: (
We ordered a jjajangmyun and jjampong. The jjampong wasn’t the worst, but tasted watered down. Definitely tried better than that though. The jjajamgmyun was even worse. Tasted burnt. I kindly asked the owner if I can get it remade because I saw burnt pieces in there. They remade it but it still had burnt pieces and smelled like cigarette ashes so I just put it on the side and didn’t eat it and the owner kept questioning me so I just told him “oh I’m just not eating it…” and he got mad saying “it’s not burnt though. I don’t understand you” and I just said “I get it but I just don’t want to eat it. ” And he scoffed at me and kept saying “I don’t understand you…”
Uh.why am I being forced to eat something that I don’t want to eat? ! I was gonna pay for it regardless….
I ordered 3 dishes for To-go and paid over $90. One of them was noodle dish, cost $18, and it came with awful sour taste. We had to throw it away. I'm suspicious if they used leftover noodles.such an unpleasant experience.
Besides the dish, atmosphere and staffs were good and welcoming. However I won't order this place anymore.
The food is great. Their prices went up, but the portions are still huge. Nice experience with the family. The service is excellent.
This is one of the best jiajangmyun place in town. It’s been in the Dallas area for a long time now.
Service was amazing! The food was just okay though flavorful but tasted like something was missing like an ingredient was off
Their service was good but Samsun Ganjjajang was very blend without much flavor nor ingredients. Also way too greasy.
The Dallas location is markedly better than the Frisco one and for some reason was not at all busy for lunch on a Saturday
The atmosphere and service is nice. The food is below average though. I ate Jja Jang myun, which was only okay or below average. I can see why some people complain it has to much onion and nothing special. I also ate tang-su-yuk, which was well below average. I can see from the color that it has been cooked long time ago. (I went at the lunch time so it must have been cooked a few days earlier) I guess. For the price, I wouldn't recommend the place.
Jjampong was OK. Had more shrimps than expected. Cup was not clean. Radish tasted slightly off.
This evening went here and feel very bad,
Ordered pork tangsuuk and jajangmen,
Finish eating they bring bills and checked they were charged for beef, asking waiter and boss,
Both say nothing sorry to me and mad and says to me anyway you eating all have to pay for beef…
My god…never go back again, horrible service,
When you go in to this restaurant depending on you looks like Korean or looks like rich this Mexican old waiter let’s you sit on right side big table, otherwise just let’s you go left small table…
Be careful here they all never wear mask too,
Thank you watching my review…
