Doorstep Digital did a great job digitizing my photo albums! They were easy to communicate with and very timely! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I went here to have a photo restored. The result was not what I expected. The new background clashed with the color of the clothing and while face reconstruction was probably a challenge, I did give another photo for reference and I was not impressed. The pricing for this was higher than I expected ($130) for 1 photo. The kicker was when they reminded me 5 months later that they had my originals and I owed a balance. Terrible business practices. Seriously, don’t waste your time or money here on a photo restoration here.

Will not give quote by phone, let me help you out and save you some time. Prices to convert excellent condition 8mm, mini DV, audio cassette and VHS to digital platform were $75 per peice. Their rationale for these prices were the location and security of their office. If the location in an expensive rental area is important to you then that would be justified, as for me, I am not interested in paying their rent. As for the security of the office, they are situated in an exterior office on the first floor (with exterior floor to ceiling windows) of a building that has interior offices. If someone wanted to get in, they could with ease. They refused to give a quote by phone and sited they needed to see the condition and type of the items. That is fair, but in the end it did not matter, as the price was the same for all. Poor business practice, wasted my time. Gave 1 star because staff was friendly and office was clean.

I had a very positive experience with Jack and his team at Doorstep Digital. We had thousands of pictures that we wanted digitized and many of them were damaged due to a fire. He worked to find a price point within my budget, and I was thankful that I was able to keep my family keepsakes here in Houston without having to ship them off to some far off distant warehouse to have them scanned. Great local service!

Jack and staff were incredibly helpful and their willingness to work with me on a reasonable price to correct my underwater photos of Kauai using a GoPro. I highly recommend using them to correct underwater photos.

I had an amazing experience with this service. I needed some family photos digitized on short notice for an upcoming event. I called and left a voicemail, and they got back to me within an hour. The number of photos I needed digitized was relatively small, but they were super flexible and ensured I got the best rate. They were able to scan all ~70 photos within 20 minutes. I'm not even sure exactly how long it took, but I left to do my eyebrows and they were done by the time I returned. It took only an hour for everything, which includes my 20-minute drive to the store and back home. I was incredibly impressed by this service. My family has been considering digitizing all our photos for some time now. Now I know where to go when we're ready.
