6Nice area to rest after a ride Leon creek there is restroom and water fountain.
Perfect for a half marathon run or an easy bike ride. The trail was clean, had park police on patrol, and even an official trail ambassador biking between the trailheads. There is plenty of shade with the occasional scent of fast food from restaurants near the road.
This is a great place to get on the Leon Creek Greenway, but there is not much else here. It does have a water fountain and a bicycle repair station, a picnic table, and a port a potty.
When looking for a good trail that's mostly flat, and not too congested, this trail entrance is suited for that!
If you need a quiet place for walking, jogging, or biking away from park noises, this is your place! When it gets dark, it's a cool place for dark, solem pics
The beginning of the Green Way trail that eventually will take you on a loop around San Antonio, meandering along the creeks. Alot of deer, hogs and coyotes.
